I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The location couldn't have been more perfect, right next to the stunning Pompano Beach Pier. The fresh and trendy ambiance, thanks to its new construction, created an inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
What I particularly enjoyed was the subtle Hispanic vibes in the background music, which added a special touch to the overall dining experience. It's not often you find a place where the music perfectly complements the dining environment without being too loud or intrusive.
Upon arriving, I was pleased to learn that the restaurant came highly recommended by the concierge at the nearby resort I was staying in. And boy, was I glad I took their advice! The restaurant opened at 11 am, and I was one of the first customers of the day. While the place was relatively quiet, with only three couples present, I appreciated the peacefulness and lack of wait time. The service was swift, and I had the full attention of my server, who seemed attentive and engaged, despite there being hardly anyone else to attend to.
Now, let's talk about the food. We started off with the shrimp flatbread to share, and it was a burst of flavors. The combination of succulent shrimp and tasty toppings left no room for complaints. As for dessert, we couldn't resist trying the brownie sundae, and it did not disappoint. The indulgent treat was the perfect ending to a delightful meal.
Though I must admit the prices were a little on the higher side, I can confidently say that the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth the splurge. Compared to some of the other options in the area, I'd gladly choose this restaurant over the Oceanic across the street any day.
All in all, I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The prime location, fresh and trendy ambiance, tasty food, and attentive service made it a memorable dining experience. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'm sure you won't be...
Read moreWe originally wanted to go to Beach House but the wait was almost 2 hours long, so we walked into Baresco, they only had a 45-minute wait but we decided to just sit at the outdoor bar because we were too hungry to wait a minute longer.
Our bartender's name was Mike, he had no personality and wasn't friendly. I told him that I wanted a drink with Titos in it that wasn't a margarita and all he could recommend was a titos lemonade (not creative at all & very basic) most bartenders would surprise me with something off the drink menu but Mike didn't seem to care to do that so I just ordered a Patron margarita, it came out really bitter so I asked Mike to make it a mango margarita so he over squeezed the mango syrup/puree into a shaker tin, it was then way too sweet but I drink it anyway because the energy Mike was giving off seemed as though he did not want to be bothered.
Thank Goodness friendly Ed, the manager, came to save the night! He stopped by and asked us how everything was, he recommended the "Kiss My Peach" margarita and made it himself with one hand because his other hand was broken, my drink had the perfect balance of sweetness to it. Ed also gave us great menu suggestions UNLIKE Mike, who seemed to care less about serving us. During our entire dining experience, Mike was slamming glassware and dishes onto the bar as if he was pissed about something.
We ordered the shrimp flatbread and the crab meat guac & chips (the chips were served cold), and we devoured those apps in minutes! I ordered the True Cross salmon for my entree, which was a very generous piece of salmon I was surprised, it was delicious, and my friend ordered the watermelon salad with blackened shrimp, also one of Ed's recommendations.
Ed literally saved our dining experience, which is why I am rating everything a 5. The food was great, I am coming back but not to sit with Mike. Mike did the...
Read moreUPDATED: July 2024, (5 Stars) love coming here, it is a 15 minute walk from where we staying or a 10 minute ride on the Circuit. You could sit inside or outside but with the humidity today we sat inside. Ron the Manager came over to our table right away and introduced himself. He was charming and very professional, he is definitely an asset to their organization. Emily our Server took great care of our table, and was very friendly. Now for our food.and drink order. We started with two House MARGARITAS, that were delicious and potent, but we weren’t driving so we didn’t care how strong they were. We ordered off of the “Local Menu” and the “Happy Hour” Menu. We started with the Cool COB DIP and the Classic GUACAMOLE. that came with chips. Then we had two Beef Tocos and rice that was freshly made and delicious. We skipped dessert, because we were just too full to even think about ordering anything else. All and all, we look forward to going back for Happy Hour.
May 2024, came here because we were passing the restaurant on our daily walk to the Pier, and it happened to be Cinco De Mayo. The place was packed and we were lucky to find two bar seats. My only complaint was that they needed more bartenders at the bar inside, three was not enough to handle the demand of customers. We had to wait a long time just to get noticed and a drink. We had the Beef Tacos (2) plated that were delicious. The Strawberry Obsession Margarita wasn’t bad tasting just needed a touch more Don Julio Blanco for $15. All and all, we will be back when it...
