BurgerFi — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

Horrible... Overcooked. There was a wait, but to be fair, there was a huge group of people that migrated into the establishment all at once. I specifically asked if burgers were cooked to order and was told yes. Well, they aren't. Also, their fryer oil needed changing(not filtering). The French Fries tasted burned & bitter, that a sign of old oil.... This is the first & last time I will ever go. I took a few bites, but ultimately tossed my order in the trash. The fact that they use Angus Beef, made absolutely no difference, especially since it was well done, which I hate with a passion. Going back to replace it seemed fruitless given the initial wait and there were still a lot of people in line. I just added it up to experience. I assumed it was just me being picky. Others seemed satisfied with their choices, although afterwards I chatted with a few people from my group and while they all ate their selections, they had expected something quite apart from the usual burger joint. Something better. I discovered that very few were actually satisfied with their meal. Admittedly, some didn't really care; a burger is a burger. I personally relish a good bacon cheeseburger, so I was NOT impressed. This place is nothing more than a glorified, fast food, burger joint giving the appearance of better, higher quality choices, the supposed choice of preparation and offering cooler, hip decor. Apart from all that, it's "not so fast food" is about what I would expect at ANY fast food franchise. It's nothing special and definitely doesn't live up to the hype. If you want a good, "cooked to order" burger, go to a full service, sit down restaurant. The price isn't much different anyway. If it doesn't matter, just go to one of the established fast food franchises. The extra cost of Angus beef isn't worth it, because there was certainly no difference. Well just heard Burger Fi might be going bankrupt or being forced to sell. No wonder no follow up..no caring about customers or their experience in stores!! Hope this location is closed and replaced by a quality burger joint to have one by the beach!! If not will continue to go to Jack's Original burgers when I am in town, there friendly service and a clean dining room with great burgers!!

June Update - still no response from burger Fi corporate even after contacting them again!! But they keep posting to the bad reviews they want you to contact them, LoL

April Update...Just wanted to give an update to my review and Burger Fi's response. Filled out there customer/guest service form on their response from owner and have not heard a word from them. Will update if I ever hear anything:(

I really would have liked to rated this place higher but just was not a good experience. Bacon Cheeseburger was okay if you like COLD bacon. You pay extra for grilled mushrooms and you can see from the picture of the impossible burger they barely give you a tablespoon full. The fries were pretty good though!

The staff there were not really friendly at all. The counter person did their job, no real help for feeling a little welcome. The person who brings your food doesn't even say a word, acknowledge you or your thank you.

First time there was no explanation for where anything was, catsup, napkins, etc. Only one catsup dispenser had anything to dispense. The garbage was overflowing in all the garbage containers. Had no idea where to put trays everything was in disarray and not really clean.

I recently had my birthday and wanted to celebrate by having a casual, simple dinner with my family. I have BurgerFi every Friday night and figured it would be an awesome spot to host my little party. A few weeks prior to my birthday, I visited the Pompano Beach BurgerFi location and spoke to the manager, Dontowan, who was very helpful and informative about my party details. He instructed me to send an email with my contact info and call him closer to my event date. I did as advised and he confirmed my table would be all prepped for me and my guest’s arrival. As we all arrived, we were excited to order drinks, wings and chicken fingers as a starter. I placed the order with Corrine and she was professional, helpful, pleasant and patient as we ordered for 8 people! Corrine and the BurgerFi staff brought out our starters and ensured we had everything we needed. For round 2 – we ordered burgers, fries and onion rings! Corrine and the staff oversaw our order and were very organized with passing out everyone’s different style burger and made sure we had everything we needed before we ate. Needless to say all the food was amazing -as usual. I appreciate the level of customer service Corrine and the staff provided for my group that day. Service with a smile! It made my little burger bash that much more memorable and special. We did bring our own cake too – so the celebration was complete with candles and...
