Dining options are plentiful, with beautiful views to accompany your meal. For a more upscale experience, check out Oceanic or Beach House. If you're in the mood for something casual, Lucky Fish has a laid-back beach vibe, while Baresco offers delicious Mexican food and excellent drinks. For stunning views, Pier 6 is perfect for happy hour or a Sunday brunch. The famous Briny Irish Pub is a great spot to gather with friends and enjoy live music. Pompano Beach is safe and family-friendly, but also offers a relaxed nightlife for those looking to unwind. You can explore the 4-mile circuit using free public transportation by downloading the CIRCUIT app. Overall, Pompano Beach is a complete destination for relaxation, recreation, and great dining experiences.

It's a really nice place for a quick walk along the beach! The pier usually isn't crowded to the point where you can't walk by, and the costal breeze is really relaxing along with the really clean water. You can fish, and seagulls and pelicans usually like to hang out on the pier! There's a nice view of everything around you, and the pier itself is actually the City of Pompano Beach's logo when viewed from above. Looking out from the pier towards the ocean, you can see distant boats and ships floating around. Usually, you can swim in the waters, but sometimes algae can clog up the side of the coast and make for very poor swim conditions. If you're up for a bite, there's a few restaurants that are very close nearby the pier. Lucky Fish is a great place, which is our personal go-to. It's located right on the beach front, and all you have to do is walk about fifty yards from Lucky Fish to get to the water. Otherwise, there's outdoor seating and a bar at Lucky Fish!

TL;DR: bring polarized lenses and your cameras. Keep an eye out for dolphins near the buoys. Watch out for bird poop. Tip: wear polarized sunglasses so you can see better in the water! A very plain pier by itself but you are guaranteed to see pelicans and fish! Many fisherman just catching and releasing. We saw some barracuda being caught and released. The end of the pier is the shape of a Pompano fish head with an eyelet you can look down into. There are many slender fish swimming about down there! There are also nurse sharks and rays that swim under the pier! We saw dolphins swimming near the buoys too! The pelicans are pretty aggressive as soon as a fish is reeled up -- they actually run up to the fish and try to swallow them whole! Other than that, you can get pretty close to take photos of them. They are not scared of people at all. They also fly close by so watch out for poop!
