I recently visited the Pompano Beach Pier, and it's primarily a spot for fishing and sightseeing. Unfortunately, during our first visit, we were caught in a rainstorm, and it was not a pleasant experience being there at that time.

However, we decided to give it another shot and returned on a clear day. The walk to the end of the pier was peaceful, but there were quite a few people busy fishing.

The best part is that it's free to enter, but fishing comes with a cost. Parking was easy to find, but keep in mind that it's not free.

The views of the water were fantastic, offering a calming and serene environment. Although they say there are sharks in the area, we didn't witness any during our visit.

Interestingly, someone managed to catch a shark, despite the "no shark fishing" sign. They probably released it back since it might have been an unintentional catch, but it added a bit of excitement to the day.
