McDonald's — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

I ordered a cheeseburger and a guava creme pie. I have to say the pie was absolutely delectable. Nice flaky golden brown crust with sweet cream and a rich guava filling. It's to die for. The cheeseburger has a nice soft bun, which is toasted to perfection. The meat is tender and accompanied with American cheese which is melted ontop of the meat. There were two pickles in my burger which is symbolism of the classic burger in America. There was a good amount of onions in my burger, which accompanied with the pickles, added a nice crunch and salty flavor to my already savory burger.

I went through the drive-way, but I could still feel the warming atmosphere. The young teenager employee greeted me enthusiastically and was patient with me while I ordered. I appreciated this very much. I like to observe the menu and take my time with my order. Although this establishment has many teenage workers, they managed the McDonald's well! The manners are peak (Very good). The payment process was simple and easy.

The overall aesthetics of this McDonald's is breathtaking. Very modern. Black and Grey exterior with a brown interior. Which compliments each other well. Little screens inside that you could order on instead of upfront. Which accommodates people with anxiety. Booths and separate tables so people have options on where to sit. I really wanted to get the experience of the Drive Thru and inside, and it did NOT disappoint. My order of a cheeseburger and guava creme pie was about 4 dollars. Great...

I could care less how much they updated this McDonald but the kind of people that work there... Jesus Christ. The cashier was Hispanic, They didn't understand anything in English and also didn't understand Spanish. The community around that McDonald is tri language, English, Spanish and Portuguese. Like if you can't even understand English nor your native language like... what are you doing working?? I'm not trying to be rude but honestly as a person who speaks two languages and trying to speak to this cashier was nauseating. Eventually I got the refund with another English speaking staff. I'm very disappointed in this restaurant.

Please be careful cuz they will try to charge you for an item you did not order and then convince you that they're right and you're wrong.

I can understand that every customer is always right but, I'm pretty sure anyone would know exactly what they ordered and not order. And how the menu works?? Because the screen literally tells you what item is priced at.

Honestly just go to the McDonald's on Federal highway, everyone's very polite and they get your order within a second correctly....

Yesterday, I placed a mobile order through the app. I purchased 2 sausage biscuits and a large shake. The large was a $1 off due to playing some slot game. When I arrived, I went to the drive thru and checked in. Simple. Got my receipt from the 1st window. When I got to the 2nd window, the employee there informed me that it will be another hour for the shake. I was on my way to work and still needed to drop off my sons at camp. I didn't have an hour to spare let alone another minute. I did ask if I could come after I got off work to get my shake. Didn't receive a definite answer. I decided to leave with just the sausage biscuits. As much as I hear and see my friends' posts about broken ice cream machines and such, I officially decided that I will never bother ordering a shake, ice cream or anything similar from any McDonalds again. I was so disappointed. Fast food sure. All your food uh nope not so much. I'm done venting about this now. Next time I'm in a hurry and want to quickly grab something from this place and something else comes up, I may just boycott...
