Prior to this incident, this place had been one of the best places to go for pizza. But one day, I decided to enter to pick up some pizza with my two daughters in the middle of a pandemic. There was a sign that said “free mask zone,” and the chef himself came out to tell us it was a free mask zone. I shrugged and removed my mask, but my 14 year old daughter kept her mask on casually. The chef turned to her and insisted that she took off her mask. I intervened and I asked what his problem was, she just felt comfortable with a mask on. He continued to insult my daughter, call her brainwashed and zombified. After that day we have never gone back again. Whoever that man was has some serious issues if he ever dared to insult a 14 year old innocent girl for keeping her mask on.
To the owner, you look funny responding to all these individuals in the reviews. When you’re at a prime age like yours, attacking children just shows your character, hatefulness, and just desperation to become something you are not. Clearly, you have gone too far, and you sir, need to grow up, because clearly you haven’t already. My daughters are the light of my life, and you have been gravely mistaken to ever waste your time at your prime age attacking her and others. You look silly. Read the Bible. Would Jesus call others brainwashed? Or are you brainwashing your own community? Pray about it,...
Read moreJust a great place! Of course the pizza is fantastic but it's comfortable, safe, clean and great staff. I've been coming here for pizza since my son was old enough to eat it. At the time, the only place that sold by the slice was down by the beach. With 3 kids to feed I couldn't afford to pay $9 for 1 slice. I saw this place and was able to make a meal for 1 kid out of two slices and a soda for less than $7. I got home with the box of pizza, opened up the box and under the wax paper that the 2 slices were on was a $20 bill. I thought that it was a mistake and was getting ready to drive back but thought, there's is no way that accidentally was placed with care for me to see. I immediately cried and thought how special that was that it wasn't done infront of people to get recognition or praise from anyone but meant so much to me. When times are tough, I still go there to take care of dinner and it makes my son happy to get 2 giant slices. I have kept this to myself for years but wanted people to know how thoughtful and caring of a place this is to go to that they clearly are not doing it for the money but doing it for people like me and my family. Just amazing to have that type of business and people in our neighborhood that are doing things that no one knows about. Thank you for everything Phi's...
Read moreThe food for that price is not worth it. We were told 20-30 minutes for a pickup but sat inside for an additional 30min, so it took an hour to get our food. I can understand that when you are busy, but they barely had any customers and were mostly just standing around in the back. The pizza LOOKED great. Tasted like NOTHING. We paid $44 for a lg philly and small Stromboli. Waste of money and waste of calories on a cheat day.
My fiancé has worked at many pizza places and he could not figure out what was wrong with the crust. He said it looks and tastes about a day or 2 too old which happens sometimes apparently but he still couldn't figure out why it had a tough bread soaked in salt water type of consistency. It also had almost no sauce and I was convinced for a moment that they forgot the cheese. And that's what the crust tasted like on both the pizza and Stromboli not just the Stromboli
This was my cheat meal so I was not going to waste it, I put more cheese on it from my fridge and a taco ranch sauce to give it some kind of flavor.
No masks were worn but at least they did not harass us about wearing our masks like I've read in...
