Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Ponca City

I had just come into town from a daylong trip on the road. I stopped at sonic to get something to eat since I had eaten all day. I heard their steak sandwich was good so I ordered it to take home with me. I went right in to eat without unloading my car so my food would still be warm. The sandwich was so greasy I could press on it and it would drip. I’m not one to complain but I was hungry and tired and was so upset. I got in my car, drove right back, wanting my money back. I had just received a sonic card for Christmas and used it. I left my coke at home but returned the sandwich and tots. It took a long time to get an answer as to what they were going to do. I gave them my sonic card to put the money back on it. Well.....they some how took my money that was on my card off and just put in the money back from my meal so I’m out my original money. I had to travel to Oklahoma for a funeral. One of the things I looked forward to the most was Sonic. There are only two in my state. Unfortunately they are about 2 hours away. I ordered my old time favorites - chili cheese dog, golden onion rings and a strawberry vanilla Dr Pepper. Comfort food. I was not disappointed with the food. I was however somewhat disappointed with the service. When I placed my order I specifically asked for several ketchup packages. I received only one and only 2 napkins. My wife and I had a later dinner there about 9 pm... we both ordered the ft long coney combo for a change... when we had received the food, the bread was not heated, the chili was room temperature and dark in color from looking like it had been sitting out for awhile and not heated..the shredded cheese was also not melted and at room temp...they were obviously not properly heated and not steamed in the steaming table as it should of been .... it was gross at the first bites and had to be thrown away... Not good to practice in a business...
