First things first. This review in no way reflects the behavior of management. She truly tried to rectify my issue and served me personally while off the clock. If there is anyone that truly desire good service, that means when a customer walk through the door, they are greeted with eye contact and positive verbal interaction, this isn’t the place of business for you. I am not from Pontiac Illinois. I was just driving through from a work assignment in a nearby town. Therefore, I’m not sure but it sound like it was the stores opening day. There were about eight customers in the store, including me. Two people had just gotten their food . One stated she was there for about 45 minutes waiting for service. I could not understand this, even though the drive through was full of cars, waiting to be served as well. I figured they were behind on making food, but that wasn’t the case because I watched workers stirring food that was already on the counter. Three trays of biscuits were just taken from the oven and sitting on the counter. There were tons of chicken above the fryers draining so my question to the cashier was justified when I answered her comment. First thing, when there were two customers in front of me. “I overheard her tell them just to let you know there is a 45 minute wait.“ I was confused because there was plenty of food and plenty of workers in the store to serve everyone without the horrendous wait. The cashier refused to let the customer proceed ordering until they answered her yes or no that they would proceed with the order. The same happened to me. She asked me if I would be waiting after she gave her speech regarding the 45 minute wait. I asked her, “Why so long?” Her response, “We’re slammed !” multiple times. I answered her, “I will proceed with my order and continue to order 1–2 piece meal mixed with one side.” The cashier refused to enter my order into the register until I answered her the way she wanted the answer which was yes or no, as if she couldn’t understand the fact that me proceeding with the order, meant I will be waiting for my order. I knew that it would not take 45 minutes for me to get my food and the delay would be at best 10 minutes. This questioning went on for about two minutes. It felt like her whole goal was to discourage me from ordering, and took pleasure in watching people walk out of the store. I did note that a few people did walk out before they reached the counter. I saw the manager with her belongings, attempting to continue to educate the staff and leave the store. It was obvious she was off duty. However, I requested her service because I couldn’t deal with the antagonism and resistant behavior from the cashier. I explained briefly the situation And requested my order be taken. The manager took my order, retrieve my order herself and spoke with me further regarding she will address the issue the following day my response was that I will be contact in corporate education need to take place with the young employees. For all that have taken time to read this commentary, you were there to perform a job. In order to get paid, you need the customer purchasing things from the store, therefore, it is improper to turn a customer away or encourage a customer to turn around and walk out “no profit no pay!“ If that’s not understood, your hours will get cut if there’s no profit coming into the store. Please understand this.
Lastly, the cashier that made my visit so difficult, you did not have your name tag on, which is why I took an impeccable picture of you outside of the door. You are plainly seen for me to give to corporate...
Read moreOrdered through the app on 7/26/25. There was a line out the door when I arrived at the estimated pick up time. People in line stating they had been waiting for almost 2 hours for food. All kinds on horror stories. There was one guy up front fulfilling all of the online orders while the other employees stood there. This went on for the entire 60 minutes I stood and waited for a 2 piece and a biscuit. Eventually, the customers had to start helping the guy fulfill orders so we could get our food we already paid for in the app. If our food wasn’t already paid for. Everyone would have walked out. Anyone waiting to order at the counter did walk out. Oh, and the one guy filling orders, (and I’m not making fun of him or downgrading him in any way because he was the person working) was illiterate. Probably not the best spot to put him. So, we all started reading the app orders coming in for him and he started boxing them up. The entire time, I thought we were just waiting on food to cook. No, it was just sitting there on the warmer. He just didn’t know how to read and none of the other employees cared to help. It was a sight I’ve never seen before in my life. Sad. Anyway, after fulfilled my own order. I finally received it 1 hour and 30 minutes after ordering it. Worst fast food experience of my 34...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience. I went in Sunday at 11:00 a.m. I was immediately greeted by two staff members as I walked in the door. Everyone was so friendly! My food was phenomenal! The chicken had just come out of the fryer and was super fresh. The Mac and cheese had a sharp cheddar taste with the bits of burnt cheese that we all love! The biscuits, omg best biscuits in the game. The gal that helped me was so sweet, she found out that I travelled a bit to get there and gave me over the top service. The guy that took my order was also super friendly and you can tell he loves his job! P.S. I hope you get that Impala you have been saving for! Her mom, the manager even came out and talked to me about how they prepare the chicken bc I had questions about it. Listen, they just opened 2 months ago so there will be growing pains but just give them a chance. They will improve with wait...
