Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Pooler

I've had Dickey's BBQ is the past and it was good, better than Jim n Nicks to me. The BBQ sauce itself is delicious. BUT this is the first time I went to the actual location and sat down and ate. There were 3 employees there. No greeting upon entry. They were not busy, only one other couple there. The 2 men there were very young, maybe teenagers. The meat they pulled from out from under the counter tasted good but was cold, none of our food was hot except the potato. The temperature of the meat was as if they pulled it from the fridge. Flavor was still good tho. The Mac n cheese I have to agree with another review does taste like KFC Mac n cheese, it doesn't taste home made, so that was disappointing. The main issue was the female cashier. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she was very rude to me. She was mumbling under her breath so I asked her what did she say cause I couldn't hear her, she rolled her eyes and repeated herself. I thought to myself, am I missing something, did I say something wrong? So we sat down to eat and my sister was sitting across from me and was watching the girl interact with other customers and she said, it's not you, she's being rude to everyone. She said a man approached her and said something to her and the girl proceeded to shoot him a bird when he walked away and she ran to the bathroom. None of these employees looked over the age of 18. There was no adult present in the store that we could see and we were there for an hour. The customer service of this younger generation is so disappointing. The world of good customer service seems to not exist anymore...

I ordered delivery from doordash from the Dickkeys BBQ in Pooler I was given no barbecue sauce, no silverware and the food was barely warm. the quality of the okra was stalking and very chewy. When I called the manager at the Pooler location, she told me that that's what you get when you order delivery and that any extras needs to be put in the comment section. I asked her if forks and barbecue sauce at a barbecue place or extras and she said no, but that is what I recommend you do. Basically, the manager told me that any food ordered by delivery, which took over an hour and was left on my porch without any notification that it was there...that if it is cold and not fresh it is because I got it delivered. I pay for regular doordash delivery, which I'm going to cancel, and I am ordering it for delivery because of my own personal reasons. I should be able to get food delivered in a timely manner that is fresh and hot. As I was speaking to the manager, she said I was yelling at her...which I was not and hung up the phone on me. This is a third time this has happened to me at this location, I will no longer be ordering from that Dickies or even possibly patronizing Dickies. There is no accountability on the manager's part for the quality of the food and apparently there's no accountability for the driver either. I would suggest that you do not order any food from...

The staff is RUDE. I called to let them know they forgot 2 meals from my order and I had to drive back to pooler from Rincon to pick them up. The "manager" is some blonde girl when I asked her if she would courtesy refund the money for me having to drive back and forth to Rincon 2 times she said food or refund, I asked her name, and she said "I don't know if you had those meals when you got home or not" So... first of all I missed most of the Superbowl dealing with this little girl with attitude, missed the half-time show having to go back to pick up the food that was not in my order, she basically called me a liar, then when I asked for her name again because I was going to call corporate she told me she didn't have a name. I was so mad when I left that place I had to sit in my vehicle before I drove so I could be safe. I'm a nurse by trade, and my husband is 17 years retired military with 100% VA benefits we don't need your 'free food' its just good customer service and the principle of the matter. Every time I've ordered there it's been $120 plus or more per order. I will not go back. The food is mediocre at best there are better places in Rincon but they were overbooked for the game. I will NEVER go back after this...
