The most divinely crunchy breaded fish! They use Rockfish for fish and chips, rather than most places pollock or cod or shark. This normally makes it hard to get the cook right. They’re up to the challenge! The rockfish isn’t overcooked, the crispy crunchy coating is even through out. I’m only a little disappointed that the rockfish flavor is a bit mild. French fries are whole potatoes but not at all soggy, full potato taste. If you’re looking for crinkle cut frozen fries, these are not that! My photo doesn’t show the full meal - because I was enjoying eating it too much to think about it. - an afterthought. This was cooked up and served in a flash, although being right next to the Victoria ferry means they would have some busy times that will slow it down, as this food is prepared as you order. With all the options to eat in P.A. The food here is as good as the view, and they even offer blankets for seating. Wife’s clam chowder was gone before I finished my first of two fried rockfish. Her...
Read moreI almost never leave a review because I'm a professional chef and just never have time, I had to for this awesome place. The fried shrimp are fantastic, my wife smiled the entire time she was eating the whole dungeness crab, my 7 year old even loved the grilled cheese enough to finish it which never happens, and the clam chowder was just right. I couldn't have made it better if I had done it myself, and I'm so picky so that's saying a lot. The staff are super friendly and kind. The service was quick, even when a line formed up people ordered and received food very quickly. The outdoor seating right on the water with heaters and "blankets just in case" as my daughter put it was the dining highlight of our 5 day trip. As we say in Utah, This is the place! Check it out, you will be...
Read moreFood was good. I was disappointed by the hush puppies which were just corn bread, which tasted fine, but weren't what I was hoping for. The next part is going to sound petty, but it is worth noting, there really is little to no service, but the POS unit still asks for a tip. To explain further, you place your own order on the POS, you pick up your own food, and you bus your own table. Really the person at the counter is really just there to answer questions if you don't understand the POS, and to put food and drinks on the counter. I do highly recommend the chowder. It is incredible and my wife mentioned it several times. It was also neat watching the...
