About three weeks ago my family went in for the first time to this new Starbucks in Port Angeles. There is nothing even remotely worth giving this place a good rating for.
I wish Google allowed for negative ratings because that’s what this place would receive.
The staff served several customers who were behind us in line as if we weren’t standing right in front of them. There was no order to the lines so maybe the server was blind??
The servers didn’t know how to make specialty drinks and when we asked them to get help with the order they refused.
To top off the horrific service we were experiencing they stole money from the Starbucks payment card we were using. The card had just been funded so the balance was around $90.00. We only ordered two drinks. The total of the drinks was less than $10.00. But when we looked at the card balance after the transaction was completed it was now $65.00. $15.00 was missing from the balance. We certainly didn’t leave a $15.00 tip. The server couldn’t figure out why, and she proceeded to tell us that she had noticed that happen to other customers who used their Starbucks payment card.
We brought this issue to the supposed management and they were absolutely worthless in trying to help. They didn’t offer to look into the issue and they refused to offer any sort of compensation for the missing funds.
Frankly our complaint isn’t about the fraudulent money handling. It was the total lack of any accountability and unwillingness to treat us as if we were valued customers.
We will never go back to this place and we will be filing a formal complaint with Starbucks.
If you actually need a Starbucks fix go to the ones at Safeway or the store in Sequim. You’ll at least be treated...
Read moreI ordered my two drinks, two sandwiches, and two cake pops via the mobile app. When I arrived the drinks were ready and sitting in the appropriate pick up spot, but food was not. My daughter and I grabbed our drinks and sat at a table to wait for our food. (My drink was done incorrectly, however when I went to stand in line to ask for it to be remade the only employee out there was so busy with the drivethrough she ignored me.) Finally about 15 minutes after I’d gotten there another employee came out of the back, still on the phone and being very loud about her private and inappropriate conversation. When she hung up I got in line again and she told me to wait a minute. I interrupted staying I had a mobile order 15 minutes ago and hadn’t received most of it. Both baristas told me they didn’t realize we were sitting there and got our ready food off the back counter where it had been sitting getting cold. It was never placed in the mobile order pick up area. My sandwich (supposed to be bacon egg and Gouda,) had two egg patties and no cheese or meat. (See pic) The two baristas then went into the back leaving no one up front. I instead emails customer service who gave me $12 of my $37 spent in credit. I had to throw away half my drink because of the whip I didn’t order (their whip is so greasy tasting,) and my daughter’s sandwich was ice cold. After getting home I realized we never got our cake...
Read moreIt has been hit or miss whenever I come to this location. Everyone is super friendly; where this location lacks is checking any modifications on someone’s drink. For the drinks we ordered yesterday, we asked for extra caramel drizzle, and instead, we pretty much go either the “normal” amount or a lighter amount on some of them — which isn’t too big of a deal, just a bit of a letdown; also, one of the drinks that we got needed to be decaf, but I still have a weird feeling that it wasn’t even though they said it was when we asked. The reason I still feel 50/50 is because when we have gotten a crème frap in the past, it was a light crème color; this time, the drink looked like all the other fraps — color-wise — and, luckily, the person we ordered it for was safe to drink some of it in moderation. Still, some people have to have it decaf for health reasons, which shouldn’t be overlooked.
