Pizza Man Dan's — Restaurant in Port Hueneme

I placed an order online for a calzone with SPINACH, chicken, tomatoes, and mozzarella. I picked up the order, and once I got home, I thought I smelled fish. I don't eat ANY fish as I'm allergic to shellfish, and all fish is offputting to me. So imagine my surprise when my calzone had no spinach but anchovies. I called, and the store offered to either replace the calzone or give me a credit. I decided to go for the replacement, but instead of the calzone, I ordered the individual pizza with the same toppings: SPINACH, chicken, tomatoes, and mozzarella. They offered to deliver it to me, so I said okay. Then 15-20 minutes later, the driver brings my pizza. As I took it to the kitchen, I thought I smelled fish again, but I thought it was my imagination. Sadly, it wasn't! They had done it again, NO SPINACH, but anchovies! TWICE, they got it wrong! When I called back, I was told they couldn't do anything because they had already replaced my first order. WHAT??? You made my order wrong TWICE, and now I have no dinner, and since I paid cash, I couldn't even call my credit card company to stop payment. They asked me to send photos so they can file a store complaint, but I don't trust that to happen. Also, there was no manager or supervisor there for me to speak with either. Anyway, needless to say, I will NEVER order from Pizza Man Dan's again. Their idea of customer service is disgraceful when it was their mistake both times!! Also, employees that can't tell the difference between spinach and anchovies or just don't care! All someone had to do was double-check the order before sending it since they already had gotten it wrong once...

Would recommend 10/10!!!!! This place has THE kindest staff that I’ve ever come across. As we walked in, the worker heading out with the delivery made conversation while waiting for my friends to get out of the car and hyped me up for some pizza! Then, he went out of his way to open the door for all of us! It sounds like basic manners for those older generations, but it was way out of his way and it was a nice gesture that was greatly appreciated! Then, the young girl at the register was super kind and understanding when we walked in starving- not knowing what we wanted lol. We ordered pizzas and apps and salad because we were super hungry and oh my!!!! It was so delicious, it definitely hit the spot! I had been out all day in the sun 11-6 and i was one hungry gal. The thick crust pizza is where its at!!!!! It was absolutely amazing and the potato wedges were bomb. Everything was perfect and the worker was so happy he literally skipped back to the kitchen with a smile on his face in the middle of serving our food. This pizza place is...

Last year, i ordered Pizza Man Dans for the first time. It took over an hour to get delivered. Once i got it, it was ice cold. I called. And my pizza was replaced.

I ordered again tonight for the second time. I got my order on time, with friendly customer service. Unfortunately my pizza was made wrong. So, i called and was told i would get yet another replacement. The replacement came quickly and looked great. ....until we took a few bites!

About three bites into the replacement, my fiance found a huge wood spilter in his mouth! I called, AGAIN to explain the situation and i was offered a credit to my account. I explained that i will NEVER order from PMDs again, and requested a full refund. Not thrilled that the refund has to come as a check, but ill take what i can get.

I will never order from this company again.

Update: January 6th.

I have called 2 times since this situation because i have not gotten that refund check in the mail. They are now refusing...
