Krispy Krunchy Chicken — Restaurant in Port Isabel

6:30pm Thursday 7/28/22. The gal working there is super rude. She’s also not customer ortiented and clearly doesn’t understand how a business is supposed to work. She opened the window to take our order. I ordered 6 boneless bites, a boudain ball and a 3 piece chicken. She then rudely exclaimed that “no chicken for 25 more minutes”. So then I asked her about the 6 piece boneless bites and she said they aren’t ready for 25 minutes. So it’s dinner time and she has no chicken available at all. No sign on the window indicating this and she even proceeded to take our order knowing that she didn’t have any chicken available.

This is my one and only attempt to eat here and this employee completely ruined the opportunity.

We got 1 fried fish fillet, the shrimp with mashed potatoes and honey biscuits cuz that was pretty much all the sides left. I was extremely disappointed with the amount and size of shrimp. They were like extra small shrimp and for the price you would think they'd at least be med sized. they were good I just felt ripped off. Especially because you have to pay extra for sides it's not a meal even though it says meals on the menu. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever experienced! After a lengthy ordeal trying to order a meal for 2, due to a language barrier and rude customer service, we cancelled the order and left. They have several combo meal deals, including 2, 3, or 4 peaces of chicken, a side and roll. BUT you cannot choose the chicken pieces that you want (their choice only), so you must order everything a la carte costing you an arm and a leg. After dealing with her again for a while trying to get my refund I finally got the manager who handled the cancellation and refund. Dont know how their food is but we will NEVER go there again to...
