After walking in and seeing how old the black beans were (noting that half of the container had a caked on layer of black beans that appeared to be sitting for hours on in) I proceeded to give an employee my order. After witnessing the employee touch numerous food items and meats with a gloved hand (cross contamination), the food was bundled up and passed along to another employee. After waiting a total of five minutes, the next employee finally took my food (this employee took her time in restocking the food that was there without even noticing myself standing there) and scrapped from the bottom of a container cheese that had been bunched up. The burrito was then wrapped and then passed on to another employee. After seeing another customer not receive the totality of what that customer ordered, I was then asked if I wanted anything else in which I responded for queso. This queso container was no bigger than a tablespoon. The salsa bar was not maintained and look sloppy (I am an avid spicy salsa eater and I did not even touch this salsa.) I contemplated going and eating outside because upon looking at the dining room I saw food, chips, salsa, and napkins under the tables which looked to be uncleaned and not at least wiped off. After searching for a clean table, I sat down and took a bite of a chip, a stale, unsalted, unflavored chip that was only made edible with a heaping mound of warm queso which did little to heat up the cold "fresh" chips. My burrito (Joey Bag of Doughnuts) which had chicken, black beans, rice, and cheese, was not only cold (for it sat for five minutes on the food preparation line) but also greasy and had not the first bit of typical southwest flavor to it. I was unable to finish this bland "bag" of beans and old meat and cheese and cold rice for after the first bite I had a thick, gritty, after-taste in my mouth. I was accompanied by a family member who ordered tacos. These tacos were, after a few minutes of attempting to eat them, soggy and not crispy. Though I must add, when I heard them bite into the taco at the beginning of the meal there was no crunch - and as they described there was not even remotely the first ounce of flavor. Upon driving home, after five minutes, I experienced a crippling and sharp stabbing pain below my stomach. I am now afraid I have food poising from this establishment. I was hopeful that this restaurant would be delicious, for it has been open no more than six months, but unfortunately I cannot even stand up now due to the pains that I am experiencing below my stomach. I am used to eating this type of food frequently, but I am not used to eating poor quality substances that have the title of "food" frequently. Please, please, please, avoid...
Read moreI love Moe’s and it is one of my most favorite places to eat. I eat at Moe’s in various locations around Florida a lot. The food is always so fresh and delicious. My favorite Moe’s is in SW FL. My husband and I stopped to eat at this Moe’s on 11-05-2016 at 3:00 pm. It was by far the worst experience that I have ever had at a Moe’s. There was no “Welcome to Moe’s” when we walked in the door. We stood at the counter for about 15 minutes before anyone took our order and there was only one person in front of us. There was only one person working on the food line. I have never been to a Moe’s that didn’t have 3-4 people quickly working the food line. The hard working young lady that was there did a great job and was the only worker around that knew what she was doing. There was a young man standing at the food line that looked very lost and confused. He finally did start my nacho order by throwing a tiny pile of beans in the middle of my nachos. He didn’t spread them all over like it is usually done. Thankfully, the hard working young lady took over and finished my nacho order. I will probably stay away from this Moe’s location until they get a few more people that know what they are doing...
Read moreBest Customer Service I Can Remember! I went into the Moe’s on Dunlawton a couple of nights ago it must’ve been right before closing time somewhere around 8:30 PM I guess they close at 9 o’clock. I was first greeted with the whole welcome to Moe’s routine by the person closest to the front of the store then again by the manager who is standing by the register then after that a third employee walked out of the back and said welcome to Moe‘s. Normally I hate this whole process I feel really uncomfortable when I have a bunch of people behind the counter screaming at me “welcome to Moe‘s!” I never know how to respond. This time it actually made me laugh. While I was waiting for my food I asked for a cup to get a drink and the manager gave me the cup and said here you can have it while you wait which I thought was a very nice gesture. I didn’t have to wait very long at all being that I put my online order in about 30 seconds before I walk through the door but the employee who handed me my food apologized for making me wait. Then all three employees told me to have a nice night. Exceptional customer service from beginning to...
