About three or four months ago I stopped in for an issue I had with my iPhone. I had a gentleman, who I could not remember, help me out with fixing my issue. And he fixed it pretty quickly. He also mentioned some promotion that I may have with the Verizon hum device but I did not have time to sit and listen. Fast forward to today, I had another gentleman help me out with an issue that was new to me on my iPhone 8. It was not allowing me to see my screen and it kept circling. But I desperately needed my phone because I am working the Daytona Rolex race. The gentleman recognize the issue and immediately started to try different methods to fix it. He tried everything with pushing the buttons and plugging it into different things and nothing happened. So after about 10 minutes or so I thought that my phone was done for. Out of nowhere, he tried something new with the phone that he saw on Google of all places. And my issue was finally resolved once I seen that Apple logo pop up and then it asked me for my pin. I was definitely overjoyed by his being able to resolve my issue. I also mentioned to this gentleman that I was having some issues with my current hum device and I could recall having someone else mentioned to me some possible promotion last September when I stopped in. He confirmed that I indeed had the same promotion for the hum device. So he started to give me details about it because I needed my current one replaced. I started to think, there was something that this gentleman said that sounded vaguely familiar to me. Little did I know, this was the same guy who I saw back in September who mentioned the hum promotion to me in the first place. We both shared a big laugh but I was more excited than I actually expressed. Because just the day before a gentleman mentioned that my email had to be resolved by me at home. But this gentleman, once again, resolved that issue as well. So he literally killed three birds with one stone all in one visit. I have to say, this has been by far the best experience I have had at any Verizon store and with any Verizon person. I am definitely sending everyone I know to see my rep from today because he is absolutely amazing and he also kept me from leaving and going to another company due to the help that I didn’t get in the beginning. I am so thankful that he resolved my issues because I deeply did not want to leave Verizon and he gave me more of a...
Read moreOn March 28th I bought a new 11 Apple phone from this store. The service was excellent and they took my money very happily. The first week I noticed that no one was calling me. After checking with the store who simply dial the phone to get me to technical assistance and sent me home. It turned out the phone was forwarding all calls to various people, none of them I had setup. After two more tries with technical assistance the people there discovered that the phone calls were all being forwarded but none of them to me. Over the next 3 weeks I made numerous calls because people told me they could not understand what I was saying, I sounded garbled and they could not understand me. I finally spoke with the manager who told me to go find another phone and call him back because he couldn't understand what I was talking about. I went into the store and was not allowed to come in because a month before my husband had tested positive for the virus. I told told him I had been tested and was negative but that did not matter. When I said I was tired of trying to get this phone to work correctly I wanted them to give me another one they told me it was past the time to turn it in. It was past the time because they all kept assuring me that that could fix it. I left the phone with them and told them when they got me a replacement call me but I did not want a phone that would not allow phone calls to me. I am a realtor and depend on a functioning phone. I called customer support and explained the problem. They agreed that I should get another phone. This week they sent me the nonfunctional phone to me. They demand full payment and then they will gladly send me a new phone and a new contract. I do not want to pay for a non-functioning phone, the penalty fees and then spend another 800 plus dollars to do business with this company. I cannot understand this type of service. If I buy a TV from Walmart and it doesn't work you bring it back to Walmart and they give you another one. If you buy a phone from this Verizon store and it does not work be prepared to pay for it and then buy another one. Or you can do what I did which is put the phone on a shelf and ignore the notices for payments. Beware you may also receive this type of treatment. It's fine when you're buying something but you're totally on your own if it isn't functioning...
Read moreSales representative, Craig Key, was in a word, outstanding. My wife and I live in Indiana, and went to Daytona Beach for a weeks vacation. It was a bit of a last minute decision to go, so we probably weren’t as prepared as we needed to be, including our finances. If fact, though we believed we had enough cash, to insure we didn’t overspend, we left a credit card, with several hundred dollars of credit, in Indiana. Our very first day in Daytona we made the mistake of taking our iPhone’s to the beach. Bad move. Somehow, through sand or moisture, we fried both phones. So we took a trip to the Port Orange Verizon store. Craig tried to get our phones to work, and when that became clearly impossible to do, he explained our options. We did have insurance, but even with the insurance, for two phones it would cost us $400 (on a $1400 bill - remember our “shoe-string” vacation budget). So Craig looked into the possibility of upgrading our phones. Long story short, we walked out of the store with two upgraded iPhones, at a minimal cost, and could remain in contact with loved ones back home, not to mention, a phone to use on our return trip to Indiana. I want to commend Verizon Sales Rep Craig Key. He was very friendly, yet professional. It was clear he wanted to do all he could to help us. He explored every option he could to help us. In short, if I owned a business, or needed someone to be my public business representative, Craig would be the kind of individual I’d be looking for. He was great! Thanks Craig Key at the Port Orange, Florida Verizon store! Thank...
