I try to only do reviews when I have exceptionally good service or exceptionally bad service. This is the latter of the two. I placed a mobile order for this location because I was nearby and hadn’t been in awhile. I have favorite meals saved in the app for when I go with my son. When I placed my order using one of my favorites I didn’t pay too much attention but it was saved with the fruit cup as all strawberries which my son likes. He does not like the other fruit in the cup and I’m not paying $4+ for him to only pick out the 3-5 strawberries they put in there but I digress. I walk in to pick up my order and the person in the kitchen comes out to the front counter all in a tizzy because my order said all strawberries which at the time I didn’t know. She’s making a big fuss the two front counter people who I assume are management are also making a fuss about this all strawberries fruit cup. Then the man in the orange shirt calls the name on the order which is my name but he says it incorrectly so I say my name 3 times until the man in the blue shirt turns around. They realize the entire time they have been discussing my order I have been in the restaurant watching their entire conversation and interaction. Instead of nice saying they don’t make their fruit cups with all strawberries they had an entire loud discourse about it. Please note every other Chik fil a I have gone to has honored my request and it’s not really about the all strawberry request because I eat all of the fruit it’s the way in which it was handled which left a bad taste in my mouth and made me never want to visit this location again. On top of all of this they forgot my hash browns and I had to go back in the restaurant and get them. I work in the food and service industry so for me it is always about customer service and this location lacks it. Be careful who you talk about because you never know...

ORIGINAL REVIEW - This was the worst experience at a Chick-fil-A that my husband or I have ever had. It was moderately busy but at first we were impressed by how quickly and efficiently they were taking orders and moving the line along. Then we stood to the side and waited for our very small carryout order for over 10 minutes while watching everyone who ordered after us get their food and leave. Multiple employees ignored us as we were trying to get someone's attention to ask about the status of our order. Finally an employee took a minute to listen to us and checked the order status. She said that the delay was because they were making my husband's sandwich fresh. About thirty seconds later someone came over with our order and we left. Two minutes down the road we opened our bags and discovered that not only had they forgotten our fries... but my husband's "fresh made" spicy chicken sandwich was cold. Interstate exits being as they are, we couldn't easily go back to complain, but definitely never eating at this...
Read moreMan what a bummer...While in Port Orange on business - I spied a Chick-fil-A. Yeah...I get my first obligatory Peppermint Shake of the year. While I LOVE this restaurant in the fast food category - I love the peppermint shakes more! I waited my turn, placed my order, got my shake and upon first "sip" I thought...something is wrong...where are the peppermint pieces? Thinking I put my straw in the cup in the wrong place...I sipped again...and yep...no peppermint pieces. All it was was a vanilla shake with peppermint FLAVOR. Hmmm...I thought....either the Scrooge got to CF and they are cutting back on expenses or a training error happened and the staff forgot to put my peppermint pieces into the shake. If it was a Scrooge mistake - shame on you Chick-fil-A! I would have rather paid more money to add the peppermint and forego the obligatory cherry you put on top which I throw away anyway or you ran out of peppermint which again - tell the customer to eliminate disappointment. If it is a training issue - please get your staff on board at this location before you stop the shakes for the seasonal time period. Next time I go thru the line I'm asking "where are my peppermint pieces". Hopefully they will say you're good to go! Merry...
