I purchased 2 parcels within the last year with Blue ocean as the title agent for both. When I began the process of combining the parcels into one, the city required an O&E title report. No additional title insurance required as far as I know. Doesnât matter any way because Im insured through Blue Ocean and they would treat me rightâŠwrong. I was quoted in email a specific price. Two days later was told the price was actually double but they were able to negotiate $100 off in house. No apologies for misquoting. Basic bait and switch.I guess repeat business isnât important in the title game. Also, my legal description was wrong for months with my initial purchase.    Read moreThey donât seem to be very organized. Day before closing sent me the closing information that gave multiple inaccurate information. When questioned about it, was told that it was the documents they were given from HOA and utilities. When I questioned about it, they brushed me off. Now, months after the closing, I get an email from them with a demand letter from their lawyer stating I owe money after they messed up the closing documents.
