Pat's Riverfront Cafe — Restaurant in Port Orange

Can't comment on food, left after an hour of getting absolutely nothing but coffee, took 25 minutes to take my order, never brought food!!! Meanwhile as I'm sitting there I watched a group of 10 who weren't even there when we were seated get seated and served before us! We finally decided to leave as the wait staff only seems to be concerned about larger groups, probably because in their limited minds that's where the tips are! I guarantee them that they've served larger groups that leave less tips than I do for 2 people! I finally got disgusted left a $5 on the table for the coffee, told one of the Women it was enough, NO APOLOGIES, NO ATTEMPT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, NOTHING! Friendly staff. 3 Hamburger meals, meat smelled bad. Tasted bad. Sent back food. Waitress was kind and took the meals off of the ticket. I tried ordering safely - a Ruben sandwich. The meat inside was dry and tough. Waitress asked how it was and I expressed my dissatisfaction. Wife ordered one fish filet - It also did not taste good. The place was dirty. The check out counter and everything around it was completely filthy. I got charged 23.00 and I should have refused to pay for anything but I paid it and gave the nice waitress $5.00. Maybe their omelets are ok. We went for lunch and made a huge mistake. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Win...

This place is FANTASTIC! You step back in time the moment you walk in through the door. You're in a homey place with familiar faces and smiles. We enjoyed it so much the first time, we ended up back again the very next day. We were immediately recognized and welcomed back. Our waitress Sherry, was the BEST. When you go ask for her and tell her that M&M sent you. Now to the food...it was spot on! The breakfast items are cooked to order so you wait a bit, however, totally worth it.
