Patio Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Port Washington

I had decided to throw a baby shower at this location and though the venue itself is pretty nice, the service and lack of information threw me completely off.

We had to pay an extra 10 dollars for pitchers of water, because we couldn't bring in our own drinks, and on top of that, we had to pay an extra 20 dollars for THEM to make a punch, that gave almost all of our 40 guests 1 drink.

The shower was scheduled at 11am and up until the day before no one had informed us they did not open their doors on Sunday until 11am... Leaving NO time to set up.

When I went in to speak to someone about this, she had told me "no one is going to go out of their way to let you in early". Wow, Thanks.

FINALLY they figured out that there would be someone in to clean, and we could work around them at 9:45.

Well, when they did show up there was very little "cleaning" done. They swept half the floor, sprayed half the tables and eventually left the brooms leaning against the tables leaving us to take care of the mess from a party held the night before. Wouldn't you have someone clean it up that night KNOWING you have someone scheduled to come in the next morning!??!

I have no problem with the food/bar area... but the disrespect I had received while trying to set up a nice event has left me with a terrible taste...

We ate here yesterday (5-26-25), wanted to try something new for Memorial Day weekend and to celebrate being in the service. We had the worst experience eating here and will never go back. It was around 2pm, we went inside instead of eating on the patio because we were outside in the sun all morning. We walked in and nobody was in the dining room. There was a worker that came from the bar area and looked at us like why are we in there. We seated ourselves. There was no music or tv on and was really quiet in the room, so quiet you could hear each other eat. We had to ask for refills, after about 30 minutes the server brought out my sons cheese curds that were supposed to be with his meal. After about an hour our food was served! None of us ordered anything that should’ve taken that long. Even if food took longer than normal our drinks should’ve been filled or our table should’ve been maintained. If there was going to be that long of a wait we also should’ve been given a heads up there was a long wait. Our server was disconnected like she didn’t want to serve us and when we left the cook was outside having a cigarette. I can’t even tell you how the food was from the horrible experience this was for our family. Same your money and don’t waste your time...

This place is horrendous! The service received was by far the worst I ever experienced. My beautiful friend rented out the other room for her baby shower and Upon arrival I see the poor girl sweating. It was a humid day and the room was very stuffy due to this. Her mom asked the ladies working if there was air conditioning we could put on, and according to her mom the lady was very rude and said "open a window." The windows that do open are on the very top and a ladder is needed to open them, something you don't want a customer to do since that could lead to a fall and an insurance claim. I searched the place and finally found the air, no thanks to the staff that never check up on the party. Later that day I was at the bar greeting one of my friends, the waitress working very rudely told me while huffing and puffing "can you not block this pathway?" Look I get she was over whelmed and yes I was in the pathway, but if you can't be kind to your customers you're in the wrong business. All she had to say was excuse me can I just have you move to the side a little bit I don't want to run you over, or something like that in a kind tone. There was no excuse for her delivery.
