If you are In the mood for a walk this is a good place you can walk for hours i put up a picture of a plaque that is pretty unreadable but in a nut shell it says they are working on making a prairie and look out and watch it grow with them so i looked up and there in the pictures to prove it is a giant electric power plant. There is a prairie type area if you cross a foot bridge and it is full of grasshoppers and crickets you can hear them sing but THERE IS NO RESTROOM if you have to go to the restroom room you should know about an hour ahead of time because it will take you that long to find the only one for the park marina and break wall I don't know how everyone is out there all day and never leave to go-to the restroom they all must be walking around half dehydrated or there ducking off the path and going where ever bird sanctuary the lake in the rocks on the walking path your guess is as good as mine they need a few restrooms in the parks and closer to the breakwater and a vending machine or two...
Read moreWe were all set up to have a picnic and watch the sailboat races, just got the food put out and then the sprinkler system came on , soaking us and the food. How utterly ridiculous to have the sprinkler system turn on at noon...... all the picnic tables were wet and we had to pack up and leave the park. Who ever manages the timing for that system needs to get their act together and have it running when no one is using the park. Not happy and this ruined our fun Saturday at the sailboat...
