While they don’t serve food, what they lack in bites, they more than make up for with an incredible drink selection and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a craft beer lover, whiskey enthusiast, or just looking for a perfectly mixed cocktail, they have something for everyone.

The drink menu is impressive, with a wide variety of beers on tap and an extensive list of spirits. The bartenders really know their stuff and are always happy to offer recommendations or craft a custom drink to suit your taste. What truly sets Sir James Pub apart, though, is the staff. The drinks were okay, but I never went back after my 2nd visit. It is very dark in there. I was with someone one time who had issues with reading in the dark. He asked the bartender to clarify what was on the menu because he couldn't read it. Bartender kept pointing at the menu saying "it's on the menu!" Even after he had said he was having trouble reading it due to the darkness. We also won some money on a machine. Bartender pays us half and says we can get the other half tomorrow. I show up the next day to collect it. Bartender tosses the envelope at me and just says, "Here!". I tried it again with another friend and didn't care for the bloody Mary's we ordered. I know some of the locals rave about it, but i was honestly not that impressed with it. Easily my favorite bar. The owner Jay is just an all around great guy, knows his trade and can suggest something for you at the drop of a hat if you have no idea what to get. They have around a thousand different types of beer (that's a literal number). Mostly bottles of course, but they keep a great selection of about a dozen on tap. They are also very well stocked with a huge variety of liquors and liqueurs. If you prefer a specific mixed drink/liquor, you can get it here too. They have a couple of video poker machines, a dart board, and a Touch Tunes jukebox. Perhaps the only thing that could be considered a downside is that they only have a few snack options like chips and beer nuts, but I think the insane beer and liquor selection more than makes up for it.
