They used to be pretty good, but they're really backsliding. I've been ordering from this place for years. At least once a month (two to three times during the lockdowns) I'd order a pizza from this place and it went really smoothly. The pizza is usually pretty good, and they don't very often get the order wrong, but the wait time has been terrible. During the lockdowns, they were pretty busy, so it was forgivable when they'd say it'll be an hour and fifteen minutes wait, (I was always understanding of this and usually gave the drivers really good tips for their trouble) but they're still averaging about a 45 to an hour, when their competition is almost always within half an hour.
The final straw for me was when I just tried to order a pizza tonight. Every time I've ordered it's always the same thing. They ask for pickup or delivery, I say delivery and they verify that the delivery address is the one on file. Like magic, they automatically know who I am and where I live. Tonight, the guy asked for my phone number. Confused, I asked whether the number came through or not and he said he couldn't see the number. I just said goodbye and hung up, but it really bothered me why the normal system had suddenly changed. So I called him back and asked when they stopped using a caller ID system. He informed me that it only showed the number for fifteen seconds and it's just easier for them if I gave them my number. No. I refuse. It's a small thing to get upset about, but everyone else seemed to have no problem doing this for the years I've been supporting this place. Let's be honest, Jets is good pizza, but it's not cheap pizza especially when you're adding on a generous tip. Because one employee couldn't be bothered to enter a number off the caller ID, Jet's Pizza can count on at least one less order for an XL pizza per month. It's a lame reason to quit doing business with a store, but it was a lame excuse for making me look up my phone number. Why should I have to go look up my phone number, when I've never had to in the past? For most people this wouldn't be an issue, but I don't use my number very often, so I don't memorize it.
Bottom line is that, the pizza turn around has been pretty slow and the service is getting petty. Jet's will probably not miss my service all that much, but I won't really miss their pizza all that much. It's good pizza, but it's not worth the trouble for me. I always had to order it an hour in advance to make sure it'd get here when we were ready to eat and it's just easier to order through other places. This review is mostly just me griping about one lousy experience, but it really only took that one annoying task to say, "I can live without...
Read moreI don’t know why this store has never once received my online orders … I recently had a deal that HAD to be ordered online (45 % off) and called the store to confirm that they GOT my order. The entitled little 20-something who answered did not bother to listen to my questions, never bothered even TRYING to make things right, talked over me, yelled at me about being too stupid to check my email to make sure I actually ordered, accused me of calling HER stupid and hung up on me. Wow. I’d fire her if it were me!! NO deal is worth that kind of abuse! Thankfully there’s more than one Jets in town & the Stadium Drive store did a great job for me. I’ll never go to the one on Romence again!! Absolutely no excuse for being in a customer service position if you don’t know how to...
Read moreWaited over two hours for delivery, I called and was told it was "on the road" an hour in. I Called two more times and finally cancelled the order. I will definitely be ensuring the charge is removed from my bank account. Who wants a pizza that's been sitting in someone's car for an hour? Very disappointing. We are a young family with kids who had multiple meltdowns waiting for their dinner. Your lack of ability to deliver in a timely manner needs to be looked into. Hire more drivers, don't bulk deliver, actually care about what you're doing. If anyone that can actually improve this Jets location and reads this review, please fix your...
