We enjoyed a bottle of rose at First Thursday. The server was super knowledgeable and brought us a couple samples of wine she thought we’d like. We had a bad experience at a nearby place and she was very eager to make sure that didn’t repeat. We ended up with a limited edition bottle that wasn’t even on the menu. Will def be back.

I did glasses of the sparking Rose and unconditional Chardonnay. Both very good. Outdoor seating is really nice on a good day (it's covered but gets sunshine). Staff was friendly and answered all questions I had on the wine in a knowledgeable fashion. And they knew about other wine bars in the area. Great experience.

Great Pinot Noir, recommend the Roe, and service. Really appreciated the heaters as well. Wasn’t impressed with the charcuterie but as they specialize only in wine, it made some sense. (Pics are for dine in, not take out)

During our recent visit to a charming wine tasting venue nestled near Portland's Pearl District, my companions and I opted to deviate from the customary wine tasting experience and instead splurged on a bottle of wine. Regrettably, our evening was marred by an unforeseen incident. Upon receiving the bill, we discovered that we were charged double the price advertised on the menu for the bottle of wine we had selected. Despite bringing this discrepancy to the attention of our server and highlighting that the menu clearly specified a price of $24, we were presented with a bill totaling $50. It is imperative that fellow patrons exercise caution and meticulously scrutinize their bills to avert similar discrepancies. In an unexpected turn, a tip was also solicited. My favorite urban winery by far. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The membership can’t be beat in what is included: A glass or flight for you and up to 3 guests every day! In addition to the allotment you choose. They recently updated their food offerings as well which are excellent. I dropped other wine memberships because you get so much value out of not just the wine, but the community that they have so intentionally curated. Was surprised to learn their complimentary Member tasting only includes a single pour of either entry level Chardonnay or Pinot Noir vs. different wines to compare --like every W Coast club I'm familiar with.

We each sampled a generous pour of Chard (too light and steely for my tastes) and purchased glasses of Rose (light, dry).
