Oregon is renowned for its Pinot Noir, and Erath is one of the names that helped put Oregon on the global wine map. The story behind Erath Winery is inspiring—an engineer who turned his passion into a legacy, pioneering Oregon’s wine industry by planting Pinot Noir grapes in the Dundee Hills back in 1969. This dedication to the region’s terroir and history shines through in every glass.
We visited the tasting room in downtown Portland and were introduced to some of their reserve wines. As non-experts, we were pleasantly surprised by how smooth and fruity the Pinot Noir was—it was exactly to our taste and just right for special occasions. As somebody whom is in the wine industry bringing in guests from out of town.. was a bit cheap.. pretty normal to give industry people taste? One to share among four people was embarrassing, you lost their business! I'm actually a fan Erath winery.. never had terrible service like this before. Was the last winery on our list, very embarrassing.. whomever managers Erath winery might want to let the older gentleman know that a little hospitality goes a long way especially when you're doing the tasting room.
The people we brought in were underdressed. But wealthy. You would have never guessed it by looking at them.. the job is to make sells not to be cheap. Again lost a sale i.e case or membership? Hope your team recyifiys it's customer service.. the only place that we left...

While I understand issues arise, I was left with a horrid taste in my mouth after witnessing his complete...
