This place blew me away, the staff and owner were personable and knowledgeable. They do things right taking the time to make a memorable and delicious shot of espresso. Weighed to perfection, hand tamped and roasted beans in house. This coffee shop exceeded all my expectations for great coffee. They even made a delicious light/medium espresso shot which is quite difficult to do right. Balanced, fruitful, sweet not bitter or sour with a clean after taste. Wish I could give 4.5! This shop is super cute, and I really appreciate the low-waste steps they take. They had 2 iced teas ready on a Friday morning. I ordered a hibiscus iced tea and it came out in a glass jar with lid. If you return the jar, you get a $1 the next drink order. I love that it’s not disposable cups! I visited Capitola with a friend. We enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere as well as the excellent service. How nice that people here know about coffee itself and the lands where it comes from. Coffee is not just a product but the journey from the plants in other lands to our mouths. The coffee is richly spiced-toned and intense. At the heart of aroma is a sweet-savory structure with engaging, bright acidity. My favorite is the cortado with oatmeal milk....
