Mississippi Marketplace — Restaurant in Portland

Two new carts just opened at Mississippi Marketplace: mississippi 5 which is a coffee and espresso cart. They make beautiful and delicious coffee. taking over in the pace where the cart Dog Feathers used to be. The owners are the baristas from the nearby Coffeehouse 5 (on Killingsworth) and they took months to lovingly rebuild the old cart into what is now a work of art. Look at the ceiling of this cart and you can see their car and craftsmanship. As a visitor from California, I thought this place was great even to just wall through it. It is certainly different than back home in LA. There is plenty of food options and even a little convenience store for junk food. Parking was not so great. I ended up parking in front of someone's home behind the block. We went to the area where this are a bunch of those portable/ food truck type vendors at the end of the block. This is a really nice spot to hang out with your friends and pet Friendly. A decent amount of seating, good food trucks and a German bar. There are bathrooms as well. The only thing I have to say is that the hours posted online are not always accurate. When I went 3 of the trucks I was looking forward to trying weren't open and didn't match hours posted online.
