Portland Balloon Delivery — Local services in Portland

A negative star is my rating for this business! I ordered balloons for my college kids' graduation party. When I spoke with David, i told him we were only able to set up an hour before the event so they had to be there by 5pm. But he told me he couldn't deliver to my venue that late, it had to be no later than 130pm. So I called the venue to ask if they can accommodate an early delivery. They told me that as long as they deliver but no set up, we were allowed to do so. I called David back and paid for the balloons and the delivery charge. On the day of the event, I got there at 5pm but no balloons. I called David who told me that they were on their way. He said that I arranged a 530 delivery. He kept arguing that I told him after 5pm. This was so ridiculous. I asked him where my balloons were, he said they should be there by 530. The van didn't get there until 6pm. Many of my guests were there and felt obligated to help put the balloons in whatever fashion we could do in the short time we had. Then i got an email thanking me for my business and how proud they were of their customer service. I responded telling them about my experience and asked for my money back. To which they ignored. I live nowhere near Portland, OR but while searching online for a specific graduation themed balloon I came across this business's website & they had the PERFECT mylar balloon for my event. Since I live 2300 miles away I contacted the company to see what my options were. I was told that the balloon in question was out of stock & they promptly removed it from the website - which is awesome because I hate when companies leave an unavailable product on their site for you to purchase just to be canceled. I figured it unlikely but asked them to let me know if they came across any or got more in stock before May. Within a week I got an email from Linda that the owner found not one, but two in the stock room!! Would you believe it? I would've settled for one but needed exactly two. Linda was so kind & helpful in willing to ship the unfilled balloons all the way to KY for me! I was SO impressed that they remembered my request & reached out to me when they certainly did not have...

This was one of the hardest days I have had because my granddaughter had eye surgery. I wanted to send her a really great balloon bouquet when she got home from the hospital. Wow! These folks delivered. I didn't know exactly what time she would get home so didn't call till late. The delivery guys had all gone home, but the person in charge made sure a TERRIFIC balloon bouquet got delivered very shortly after my little granddaughter got home from the hospital. She was in a lot of pain, but my daughter said she lit up at the amazing balloon bouquet! I have ordered from folks all over the country (read big family, lots of occasions!). None better than this.
