I stopped here when usual spot was closed. The inside is so beautful! wood floors and booths, decorated with warm hues for lighting as well as fake plants. The first time i tried this place i got the fried rice and added beef with the mango sticky rice desert and both were very good!! I order mine for pickup and it was still so warm and delicious. (Around $25) If you’re concerned about how it tastes on the reheat - don’t be! It taste just as glorious as when you first chomped your teeth into it. I’m very surprised that it hasn’t been super booked the two times I’ve been in here, it’s on Mississippi which is a great location for walking and window shopping so if you happen to stop by i highly recommended. 10/10

We stopped here after an Improv showcase for one of our young adults. It was between this place or a bar type restaurant. We had a minor with us and didn't want to risk the other place. I ordered Pra Ram, my standard at Thai restaurants.  My husband ordered Lemongrass Pad Thai--he thought he had ordered with chicken, but he got beef. It was the best tasting (thai) beef I had ever tried! Husband also thought it was really great pad thai, and LOVED that it had peanut sauce. Our son is pickier than me, but loves pot stickers and likes the chicken satay. He really liked his food! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give this a try!

I love monsoon Thai. Everything I’ve had here is good. All the curries , Pad Kee Mao, Fried rice, spring rolls, mango sticky rice, Tom kha, Thai tea, khao soi. All yummy! They are reasonably priced and big portions. The curries and soups are 20oz for ~$12. And the curries come with rice. I usually go for Penang curry, and I find their curries to be well balanced with veggies and good consistency. Monsoon is my go-to for Thai!

I've been a long time, loyal customer for at least 7 years and I can say the service & quality is declining. I ordered for take out & forgot to say no tomato (I'm allergic), probably bc I order that dish all the time. When I called back they were very understanding & offered to make another dish free of charge. Great, thank you, happy customer! I drove back over & picked up my "no tomato" dish. I was starving at this point & started to dig in right when I got home, only to find there was still tomatoes in it, even though I made a big point about re-making it due to an allergy. I called them back & they said they would remake it, again. I drove back over ( this is about 1.5hrs later) to pick it up & they tried to charge me for this 3rd dish. I'm disappointed that they would mess up the order & then ask me to pay for it. I'm just hoping that I don't get sick from eating the food they told me was tomato free.

There's plenty of other good Thai around with...

What a hidden gem. Order at the counter and sit in the comfortable dining area. Super friendly staff, he brought us our food and checked on us to make sure we were happy. The spring rolls were perhaps the best I’ve ever had, so light and crispy. I got the pad see ew, my go to, and it was better than most. Unlike a lot of places the noodles didn’t get gummy or congeal, they kept their integrity. The sauce wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was incredible. My fiancée got the chicken satay which made him light up, that’s how good it was. And the best part is the price, we paid $31 including tip for two meals and an appetizer. If I lived in Portland this would be my new go to Thai place. Also, street parking was very easy....
