The staff are kind, the space is cozy, and it smelled like good food. I love the family style option, and every single course was delicious. They offer many of their sandwiches vegetarian by subbing eggplant 💜 and the grinders are big enough to split. I moved here from NYC, and this place is reminiscent of a legit Bronx little Italy resturant/deli with the retail section and counter slices. Read moreI was disappointed in our dinner. My partners ravioli tasted undercooked. They did comp that meal, although we didn't ask and that was appreciated. I couldn't taste any pepper in my cacio de pepe. The bread, though,was phenomenal.
It's kind of difficult to have a nice meal with your partner when you're seated at a table that is so small, you can't even have your water bottle on it. I'd recommend that if they want folks to consider the five course option they seat them at a table that allows for a leisurely meal rather than a tiny table meant...
