I used to love coming here all the time because I live nearby and it was always great coming in after I finished work, but the last two times have been disappointing, and will no longer be coming back, In my most recent visit the service was in need of a major improvment, the server dropped off drinks and never came back... and I mean for a long time, at least 30 minutes, They actively avoided eye contact with our table and never walked near us. I even did the awkward small hand wave when they were looking in my direction when they were just chilling by the bar, but they straight up ignored me, and stayed next to the bar the entire time. After a second time of them not acknowledging our table or my hand wave, and drinks being empty and still not ordering food, I got up and walked over to where the server was standing (next to the bar) and said hi we would like to order food. and their response was so cavalier. That at that moment I knew it was my fault for coming back after experiencing less than decent service last time. When the food came out the pork sandwich was Dry and I mean capital D Dry. Drinks were good, but this is Portland, their are so many amazing bars with fantastic drinks that not coming here again is no major loss after this. Fool me once... Fool me...

To start things off, I asked for a glass of water and received a scowl and attitude for not having been there before and knowing where there water was.

When we were about to leave, my friend had a small issue with someone who was friends with a waitress (who claimed to be the General Manager) there. They told us to leave and after some heated words with the waitress and her friend we went outside. This guy would not leave us alone after we left and kept talking to us, finally he went inside. We were standing outside the bar on the sidewalk calling a cab trying to get out of there and the bouncer, out of nowhere, opened the door and all but tackled my friend as hard as he could. When I said what the hell was that for and told him to leave us alone. He shoved me too. I almost called on the cops and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Don't waste your money dealing with these scrubs. I hope the owner's deal with their employees if they want to stay in business. The dozen-plus people who saw this came out and apologized to us saying that it was complete bullsh*t and they won't be coming back. I'm glad I didn't spend...

Absolute terrible service. I was very excited to bring my family here for my birthday as I am newer to the area and my family is visiting from across the country. I specifically saved this place to try with my family because I was sure it was going to be a great experience……… WELL, the bartender was very rude and her attitude was REPULSIVE. I was recommended to go here due to the amazing atmosphere and I can assure you it was much less than a pleasant experience. The drinks were mid and the service, absolutely horrendous. I had to leave, before even finishing my drink and we ended up at the Teardrop Cocktail Lounge, THANKFULLY, where the staff promptly greeted us, and the drinks were 12/10! The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and polite 15/10 and price was VERY fair 10/10. I highly recommend taking your money to TEARDROP COCKTAIL LOUNGE that made my night absolutely 100x better after visiting this DUMP!!!! Teardrop cocktail lounge was worth every penny and the 7 minute drive!!!
