Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Portland

The employees here are completely incompetent. An employee asked what I was waiting for, I gave him my doordash order name, he proceeded to look into what I thought was an empty bag and tell me they were still working on it. In between helping the in store customers, he stood around twidling his thumbs getting paid for literally nothing. Then another helpful team member who was working hard the ENTIRE time went out of his way to double check on me to see what I was waiting for, since it had been 10 minutes at this point and over 5 customers came and left in that time. After I gave the helpful employee my order name, he looked into the bag the first employee had looked into and found the customers order in there, getting cold while I waited. It was immediately sealed and given to me, therefore I wasted 10 minutes of my working time on this employees incompetence. Completely unacceptable, I will be filing a complaint...

I will never go back to this Jersey Mike's establishment. Went there for lunch and they didn't appear overly busy but they were very unorganized. The person at the register was helping make sandwiches and shouldn't have been making them because he clearly didn't know how. They were advised multiple times by other staff to clean off the cutting board where they make the sandwiches which was covered with all sorts of food debris, including vinegar. They only then cleaned it off just a little bit but then when they put my bread on to make my sandwich they put it right on some vinegar that they didn't wipe off. You shouldn't have to tell someone making your sandwich to clean their work area appropriately. Then after I said what I wanted on it, the person started putting on random toppings that I didn't ask for, which I had to tell them to stop and take them off. It was very frustrating to...

Food's great. Sandwiches are always exactly what I order. Service is fast and generally friendly. I give it five stars, because the sandwiches are by far my favorite of the chains in our area, but there's some things to know.

Tips below are not specific to this location but to ALL stores in the Portland Metro area.

When ordering from an app (ANY APP) just know your drinks, cookies and chips will never be what you ask for, it's like a mystery grab bag. If you're picking up for yourself, don't order these ahead of time, grab what you want when you get there, you'll save yourself an unnecessary irritation.

Sandwiches can be soggy if you aren't eating it right away, so think about ordering light vinegar and oil, but they are delicious.

Don't forget lots of napkins, I've never been able to eat a sandwich without getting it all...
