Today was my first visit to the Kabba's Kitchen food cart on North Albina Street. I ordered the Thié Bou Yapp (pictured), which is Senegalese lamb and rice.
Everything was fantastic! The lamb was tender and flavorful, mildly spicy, the rice was pleasantly seasoned and wasn't too heavy, and the vegetables were sweet and also mildly spicy.
Service was friendly and relatively quick, and there were a few tables for outdoor seating. I will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Called in my order; food ready in 10 minutes I was told, which is awesome cause I had to rush home. Friendly folks, easy curbside pickup (there's a small lot shared by two other food trucks). 👍🏼
I ordered the mafe yapp and fataya, based on other folks' reviews. Damn, so much flavor, and really sizeable portions. The chutney/dipping sauce with the fataya 🤌🏼🧨 - so good!
Really excited to try other dishes next time, and now I know the fataya is a nice size snack (3 huge patties!) whenever I need one. Thank you, I needed this warm...
