I was assaulted at the door of this restaurant on 06/10/20. I received an order for delivery of no-contact and waited in line for my turn at the door for pick-up. When it became my turn to place contact for pick-up, the lady at the door (behind the table) asked me for the name on the order. I informed her and she told me to hold on. When she returned to the door with an order she called out a name that was not my order. I checked my phone and stepped back, as quickly as possible, 6 feet away from the door. The guy, whose order was called, yelled at me to move and give him space. Despite his anger towards me after moving the first time, I immediately stepped back much further to allow him more space. The guy then grabbed his order, came to me and assaulted me.
The lady at the door was the same lady that was at the drive-in window today (10/11/20). The lady was very rude over the microphone, disrespectful at the window, and didn't care that I was assaulted or that it could have been prevented if I was asked to wait along the side until my order was called. The order had to be canceled due to not being willing to put my life at risk again at their door. It states on the website that there is no-contact delivery. I have been able to come to the drive-in after hours before Convid-19. The treatment that I received from the staff at this establishment is entirely unacceptable. The contact today was recorded to capture the...
Read morePopeyes' delicious food speaks for itself so there's no need to spend time on that. Instead I'll share other aspects of experience dining in.
At roughly 7:30 pm I was surprised by just how many other patrons also dined in - too many for me. This is a me issue not a demerit to Popeyes but you should set your expectations appropriately. They really need a larger dining room but given the footprint of the store I understand why this would be difficult to accomplish.
The initial table I sat at hadn't been wiped down so I moved to another one that looked clean, but once I got over there it too could've used a cleaning. I took it upon myself to wipe it down with a few napkins and went on with life.
Both garbage cans where you return your tray were full and needed immediate attention, especially seeing as how they're just 5 feet from the counter.
The staff was rushed trying to service an ever increasing stream of drive through customers and this showed through their curtness towards their dining room customers.
I found the music appropriate for a New Orleans themed restaurant and it was free of any offense language.
Overall it was an acceptable experience but I'm unlikely to dine in at this...
Read moreWorst customer service ever! Diego, the manager, says since they failed to write my name in their book, they couldn’t replace the 5-piece chicken meal that they had messed up. He said since he wasn’t the one who messed it up and since he didn’t take my call, they couldn’t replace it. He then said he was getting someone to talk to me and some kid comes to the window and says “I’m not F:)&- talking to you, bro!” When I tried to explain the situation. He told me to shut up. He then said he that was the Popeyes 5-star service. Diego came back and threatened to call the police on me after calling me a child. All because they failed to their job in the first place. I remained nice yet puzzled and question their ability to do their jobs. I drive a nice vehicle and have money sufficient to buy an unlimited amount of chicken. But this customer service isn’t worth anymore of my money. I’ll go to the other Popeyes down the street where they are kind to me. And I’ll be in to talk to Brandy about Diego and “Mi” about...
