Used to love this place. The employees have always been top notch!!! Great pizza and the best Italian sandwich in the neighborhood. Unfortunately (and this is for the owners) you can't get the sandwich anymore because they are horribly understaffed. Can't imagine why they would have ONE person working to take orders and prepare food.. a few years ago you could get that awesome sandwich because they always had two people working. Now its impossible. The poor guy is back there dealing with 8 customers at a time and all with a good attitude and a smile on his face but its become obvious the owners are too cheap to hire an extra person. This used to be my go to spot in the neighborhood but now I go maybe twice a year. Sad.. and a terrible way to run a business. They probably think they're saving money by working one employee to death but all its doing is chasing people away. I'm not the only one who has noticed this. If you're too busy to make a sandwich then take it off the menu. But I do want to say again that EVERY person behind the counter has been outstanding in the 10 years I've been going there. STOP BEING SO GREEDY AND...
Read moreAs someone who once worked at a pizza shop, I find it very hard to eat at pizza places—I am picky, what can I say? Signal Station is a pizza place I am never disappointed to eat at. Ultra thin crust, plenty of toppings, a sweet-savory balanced sauce—just divine!
Super quirky (though very small/claustrophobic on the inside, so be warned if you’re a person who dislikes small spaces) pizza shop inside of an old gas station. What more is there to love? However, the pizza they make is absolutely phenomenal. It feels so good to eat a pie made with whole ingredients and the best quality toppings—I would highly recommend this joint—they’re not cheap but I think they’re worth it.
It is a pizza I eat that makes me feel good rather than bloated and miserable — and I think that is worth straight gold. And their ranch is delicious! The humans who work here are so frickin nice. I really do appreciate them all deeply, and their phenomenal customer service.
I always get a Bridge with added red onions — but I also recommend their calzones and...
Read moreIf the music is so loud inside that you give up trying to have a conversation with the person you're there with, then it might be too loud. Pizza was not cooked enough. Dough wasn't fully cooked, crust was soggy, cheese easily slipped off. Having been here before, I know this isn't necessarily the norm, but it was really disappointing.
Edit: I regret having to do this because the building is awesome and I love neighborhood type places, but I have to knock the rating on this place down. After 3 more orders of various toppings spread across a year, it's clear that it's now the rule and not the exception that the pies are undercooked. I don't know if this place just needs to invest in a better pizza oven or what, but at best the inside is soggy and falls apart. At worst, the dough is flat-out uncooked in the middle. Sorry Signal, maybe I'll try you again someday if you get your shizz together; until then, I'll admire the...
