5 Dollars a Car to Park Now Is a Joke As Is All The No Parking and Closing the Parking Lot at 10pm When the Park Was Supposedly Open Until 12 Midnight Every Night But You Have to Park Somewhere Else and Walk In Because That Is a Super Safe and Smart Idea? NOT!! So Congratulations to PP&R and The City Of Portland For Intentionally Ruining The Place For Poor People That Have Been Enjoying This Place Their Entire Lives and Can't Afford to Go Somewhere Further Away and Can't Afford The Useless Fee Designed For the Soul Purpose of Eliminating The Poor Class and The Harassment Level For Trying To Kick Back & Relax In Your Vehicle Is Insane and Some People Have Mental Health Issues and Physical Issues and We Don't Do Well Around Big Crowds But Still Try To Enjoy a Nice Outdoor Area and This Sure Feels Like Intentional Discrimination and Absolutely Targets Certain Medically Disabled People as Well As The Poor / Poverty Class Residents In The Area, This Is Pure and Simple Discrimination By PP&R and The...

PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE-I'm giving 2* that I used to rate 5* for these reasons 1,to many homeless people and campers. 2,cars are constantly getting broken into by the homeless 3,Needles and human $#!¥ in around sandy beach area or in the grass on dock side only. It used to be a nice place last year "what happened" our city has done alot to improve this area, I remember when their was no sand just green slime and sludge, now there are fresh water baby clams, you can see 15+ft of clear water and a nice beach. Let's try to keep it that way if possible "please" On the other side were i walk is nice welcoming with people having a awesome day. NOTE:Do not leave any belongs visible. Lock all doors and windows/sunroof. If walking on the beach please be Vigilant of your...

There's insufficient parking enforcement. During peak times, it's common for all vehicles to take up spaces specifically meant for vehicles with trailers. In fact, I've had to leave on occasion because I couldn't find a spot for my truck and trailer. As for the boat ramp, it's wide and spacious, but only one side is really functional for solo boat launching. The other dock is a bit too small, and for some reason, a large new section is closed off. This ends up causing long stays at the dock as boaters take extra time waiting for passengers. This, in turn, causes delays for others who are waiting to launch. So, I'd suggest getting there early on busy hot days, or using a...

Excellent view of Willamette river and St Johns Bridge from here. Christmas ships rode by here this trip. Occasionally we get milkshake from Burgerville come here and watch river traffic. Ships pass by; tugs, too. Once a friend brought boat up to end of dock and we hopped on for ride. Watching boats put in and come out can be entertaining, just watch parking in their way. Some get grumpy if you're not allowing them space to maneuver their boat trailer. Some are real practiced, others are obvious beginners.
