I came here for pizza week twice in 2022 and this year 2023. Quite frankly and respectfully, it’s typically on the bottom of my list, so I haven’t tried their actual pizzas. But their prices for whole pies are reasonable. This is NOT a restaurant, it’s a quick store with plenty of refrigerators of all sorts of drinks, even ones you haven’t seen in a while. Then in the backroom there’s nothing but beer and wine. Unique craft beer and domestic. If you were looking for something, it may be sitting here. The staff has always been friendly, it feels like a family owned place, so I didn’t want to ding them solely on their pizza week. There’s a little parking lot outside with two tables for outdoor seating as there’s no space indoor. Down the block is a Safeway, and the whole area is a nice walking place to come in grab some food, then take it to another spot or just bring it home. Check it out if you ever wanted a drink!

First time visiting this location for a slice during pizza week. The staff was super friendly and got our slices out to us pretty quickly. I've had their other pizzas before from the other location. The menu is similar to the other location. This location also has a small goods/market arched that has some interesting snacks and drinks. The slice of pizza was tasty with a thin crust. They had some good creativity for their special slice.

The food is amazing. A dizzying array of pizzas, the salads are big enough to easily share, delicious and inexpensive. Their wings are legendary. I haven't tried the pasta dishes yet but they look phenomenal. It's also a little European market with delicacies from abroad. Excellent beer selection as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This place is a St. Johns gem.

I’m a college student so ordering out is kinda a treat for me. After a long hard day all I wanted was some pasta so I decided to Postmates it from LoveVerona. When the driver got here it was totally the wrong order. Completely. The postmates driver gave me a lot of guff and said to call the restaurant. So I did. But I called the sister location down town. Rather than them being rude or short with me, they were very patient and after a while they told me very nicely I had the wrong place and gave me the right number which I did call. The man on the phone was very apologetic and said that he would personally make and deliver my food for me. When he got to the house he was super aplologetic and very pleasant. Point is, I don’t think I’d ever order from this place again but the people were so kind, and the food was so great, I think next time, I’ll just go in person.... Super good food! Super...

Anyone on here saying this is the best pizza in Portland is lying or has no taste. Honestly, it’s fine. It’s a Good Friday night casual pizza. Ingredients are decent though the crust is minimal and not much flavor or bounce. Prices will undercut somewhere like pizza nostra but I like nostra better. Unfortunately, their beers are wildly overpriced. Had a 6 pack hefeweizen for 22$. No price was listed and by the time I got to the counter I didn’t really care enough to put it back. I will note it is hard to find a hefeweizen these days and they had a surprisingly good selection of beer for the size of the place. Nice wine selection as well. Would I go back? Maybe if I wanted pizza and was too lazy to pick up at nostra and separately drive to Safeway for beer, but otherwise I probably wouldn’t. Staff seemed...
