We’ve been here twice and had fantastic experiences both times. The food is absolutely delicious and the cocktails are unique and creative. We especially love the fungus among us cocktail, so fun! Egg rolls, dumplings, wonton soup (special), general tso’s & the noodles are all prepared beautifully and packed with flavor. Service is great, they’re very clear about the ordering process and they’re quite efficient so even when the restaurant has been full, we haven’t had to wait very long to order. The only note we have is that the light on the building across the street is incredibly bright and unless you’re sitting at the bar, it is very intrusive and usually shining in at least one of our eyes. It seems like this could be easily remedied by adding curtains that cover just the top windows and it would greatly improve the ambiance in our opinion! Other than that small aspect of the setting, we truly love this romantic spot and we will definitely be...
Read moreWe loved the warm welcoming atmosphere, even though the bar was completely full, the host encouraged us to order at the bar and wait for seats to become available. Our first round, out of network and oolong old fashioned, was delivered surprisingly fast and we were able to sit before we were halfway finished. Since our cocktails were so refreshing and delicious, we ordered a second round, reposado recession and pandan express. We enjoyed the tea-infused liquors and the asian flavors represented in the cocktails (chrysanthemum, pandan, oolong, lemongrass, etc). Italicus is Italian but I love anything bergamot and it was a great in the reposado recession. Their chow wow noodles were perfectly chewy and bouncy, we needed to save our stomach for Le Pigeon but we finished the plate before we even realized. We will definitely return next time we are in town to try more of their menu. Chili oil was a great add on for the noodles,...
Read moreSilk Road is a great new cocktail bar / restaurant.
It’s got great atmosphere - super cozy, very beautiful, tons of space, and lots of seating options. The chairs at the tables are comfy.
Cocktails are delicious and no joke - tons of unique drinks that taste great. I’ll totally have to go back and try everything but the mushroom room. (I hate mushrooms)
The cuisine is Chinese, lots of great options. We ordered Egg Rolls, Mandarin Wings, and General Tso. All crazy tasty but I think the wings and General Tao’s won. But I was hoping my wife wouldn’t finish her egg roll so I enjoyed that as well.
I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
I really enjoyed my time there - it’s a great spot with a chill vibe. Nice music but not too loud. The crowd was great - everything from cocktail hipsters (they know what’s up) to high powered business people to me. I’m cool. This...
