Starbucks — Restaurant in Portland

I will go out of my way to not use this location any longer. Today I pre-ordered a Blonde Flat White, it was waiting when I arrived. Good, No customers at counter so I ordered two petite scones. Paid and she said they'd be right up. Then she disappeared and no scones. Two customers after me and several drive threw customer got their heated pastries. Still no scones. Then the gal comes walking out the of the back room on the phone. I waited for her to get off and asked where my scones were. She replied "They're coming." I asked if they were heated? She said no. She went over to the case and put my scones in a bag and handed them to me and said "sorry." Ugh... I'm on a time clock at work, I was two minutes late because I waited at least 5 minutes for two petite scones! Ugh. Three times sent back my Iced Green Tea Latte with Almond Milk. First time it came hot with milk. Second time it was iced, but the green tea powder was all glumped in the bottom and I couldn't stir it up. Third time I watched her make it and said it looked the same, she then poured it into a shaker cup and shook it up. Took a couple sips and kept getting bitter glumps in mouth and threw it out. I really like the layout and look of this Starbucks. Inside and out. They have a drive up window making it convenient for people who want to grab and go. (love the wood panel exterior. It gives the place an upscale elegant look. I know it's a Starbucks for heavens sake.) They have cold brew which is a plus of course. Nice selection of breakfast sandwiches. So many Starbucks are scant on that. I liked the interior of the place too. The back counter (from customer POV) is open. I don't know, kinda like a restaurant that has an open kitchen set up. Longer and lower counter maybe. I know weird to notice such things yet I did. The seating accommodates group, individual and Co-seating. They were full up too. Outside seating available yet inclement weather prevents use. Lots of power outlets. A number of customers had laptops open and were working. All and all...

I ordered a Sugar Free Vanilla Non fat latte this last Saturday and ended up with a regular made latte. The problen is that I have gestational diabetes, which is only while pregnant and it is dangerous for the baby to have too much sugar. So, when I went to check my numbers they were dangerously high. A good coffee will taste identical to the sugar filled vs not sugar filled so I couldn't taste a difference or I would have had them fix it. Your staff needs to understand it is crucial to make the drinks as ordered especially when it comes to sugar free orders. A diabetic knows there will be sugar in the milk, but not in the syrup.
