If I could give 0 stars, I certainly would! We sat down, the waitress was miserable and extremely rude. The table was really sticky and hadn’t been wiped down, so my mother asked if she could wipe it down. What did she do? She huffed, walked off to get a cloth with an attitude and then came back and quickly wiped down not even half of the table. Never in my entire life have I sat at a sushi restaurant for a whole hour with no sushi going around!!! I had 3 plates the entire time, two were egg rolls and one was 2 pieces of sushi. I’m not a fussy eater, there was literally no sushi being added. So, we ordered food and ended up leaving starving because when we asked how long it was going to be after being there an hour, they said it would be a while longer. Are you kidding me?! What was even more frustrating is they added a 20% gratuity to my bill, so, clearly the waitress didn’t care if she was rude as she knew she was getting a tip either way! Ridiculous! The rudest and worst customer service ever, she needs to check her attitude and maybe find a job that is NOT customer focused. Needless to say, we left starving and went to another restaurant, which I’ve never had to do in my life. I would absolutely never come here again or recommend this joke of an establishment...
Read moreI have been going to Sushi Ichiban whenever I can since 2010. I love it. I take my friends, family, colleagues, and significant other there. They have great service. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the fresh ginger sodas are perfect. Everything is fresh. Custom orders are made quickly and delivered with a smile.
It is a classic sushi-go-round with a twist. Inside of this little red building is a sushi-go-round set up without a conveyor belt. It is a toy train on railroad tracks and it is on the flatcars/wagons the sushi rides. There are also four booths in the back that are rather comfortable. There are stacks of plates by the back of the train tracks that you can grab from or you could use their menus organized by plate pricing, that you can order directly on and hand in directly for the sushi to be made for you then and there. They have lots of traditional food options as well (ramen, miso, azumi or taro or pork bao, etc.) and deserts from mochi ice cream to cheesecake slices. They have saki, including a coconut one that is to die for. They sell candy at the counter.
I highly recommend going. Wednesday evenings and all day on Saturday they have a delicious deal on their sushi.

Read moreWe went here from out of town based on good reviews. We had a party of 6 that sat at the bar in front of the train. We paid in 3 separate tickets so shouldn’t have charged the auto gratuity for large parties, the waitress was rude but I guess she didn’t have to be kind as she knew she was automatically getting a tip. We didn’t know we had to order rolls from a paper menu otherwise we wouldn’t be eating anything within the next hour. The sushi train would go around with 4 or 5 plates of mainly nigiri that would be gone almost instantly before the train even got to us. We finally put in sushi orders on the paper tickets because we realized that they weren’t really restocking the sushi train for as many people as were there. The waitress said they are busy and behind. I have been to many sushi conveyor places busier and never had an empty train of sushi. Our party waited over an hour and my friend had still not gotten the duchi she ordered and we asked and they said it would still be longer as they were still behind. We ended up canceled part of our order and she canceled all of hers as we had not gotten food in so long. Do not go here if you want good sushi or any sushi at all in a reasonable...
