I grew up in Buffalo, NY, where having a fish fry is practically a spiritual experience. Stopped by The Cod Father for the first time and ordered the Cod Basket. Since moving to Portland, I have tried basically any variation of fish n chips I've come across, and in most cases have been sorely disappointed in the experience. Not this time! The food was AMAZING, and you could tell the cod was good quality. The batter was excellent, not overly greasy like many places.
