Only been here twice, but have been very impressed. Small menu has 3 yummy tacos, quesadilla & nachos, with meat & veggie options. Their speciality is their house-infused liquors. I seriously can't get enough of the habenero lime tequila!! It is so damn good. The patio outside is beyond adorable, with rickety wooden tables and a wild, beautiful garden with a pathway through it (good for keeping the kiddos entertained while you enjoy your drink). Today when I came, the bartender Brian was so friendly and accommodating, I just had to hang out for another drink!

We went to see one of our friend's play a show. The drinks were fine, a little spendy for a draft beer but it seems like that everywhere we go, these days. We didn't get any food but it looked and smelled delicious. Overall it was a good experience, they have a beautiful seating area outside next to the bar and they had plenty of seating inside.

The Waypost is amazing. We played a show there this week and Tony was awesome to us. Bar itself had a great aesthetic, whiskey Wednesday was happening and we took full advantage. Southwestern vibe created a great atmosphere. It was a blast! Really couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

This place is one of my favorite bars, the staff is always super upbeat and happy to see old and new faces. (Antonio you're a star) They actually have some pretty tasty food and the vibe there is very community and friend forward. You could say cheers Esq. It's usually not super packed, and hopefully this review doesn't change that aspect too much, but I can't not say good things about it. Also who am I to think what I say has any influence over people? That's pretty lame haha. Anyway I love it particularly for Wednesday nights because duh karaoke y'all. I went there last night and while I'm sure I sounded terrible and probably made a fool of myself because I decided to drink like a ton of fernet on a basically empty stomach beforehand and then continue to drink whiskey once I got there, it's all good because I had fun and I'm gonna try and forget that I was a donkey on stage because there's plenty of other things I don't remember sooo. What is this my journal? Yeah, come here for good food friendly staff and super awesome theme nights, they also have trivia and live music which is purty cool. BTW I don't support over drinking in establishments or in life because it's really dumb, I was having a bad day yesterday and didn't make great decisions even though I knew better, it all worked out fine, I walked everywhere cuz at least I'm not that stupid and I live in the area, drugs are bad mmkayy. Went in for a quick drink, ordered a Long Island as was told by the bartender he couldn't make it (despite having a full bar). No problem, as I'm mid "Ok, I'll take a.." The bartender says in an aggressive tone: "Here's our cocktail list." Great. "I'll take a mojito, can I get a double though?"

"If I serve you a double, I can't serve you for the next hour." Ok. "That's fine, I'm just going to get a couple tacos to go and I'll drink it while I wait." Again, rudely: "yeah, we don't really have the supplies to make to go food. Well, beyond a box." Okay, still okay I tell myself. "Perfect, just put it in a box." I'm sitting at a table and my food comes on a plate. I ask for a box and the runner says, "Do you just want it to go?" "Yeah, that'd be great, thank you." Went back the next day (to give a second chance) and apparently this experience was not usual, but I still will most likely never go back. Walk down the road to Maui. Much friendlier and...

If you're in Portland and haven't been to The Waypost, you're missing out. This place is not just a bar; it's a beacon of warmth and good vibes.

Their Waypostaritta is a standout, offering a delightful twist on the classic margarita. It's one of those drinks that leaves you wanting more after the first sip.

The bartenders here are the heart of The Waypost. They're genuinely awesome, making everyone feel welcomed with their friendly and knowledgeable approach.

As a member of Izy Kactus, I've played here a couple of times. The Waypost is incredibly band-friendly, ensuring everything from soundcheck to the live performance goes smoothly. It's rare to find a venue that supports local music with such enthusiasm.

In short, The Waypost is a gem in Portland's nightlife. Great drinks, wonderful staff, and a supportive environment...
