Update: Now that this business has been under new management it operates as well if not better than other Papa Murphy's locations we've visited. We're very glad to see this business doing well!
Update: Third times a charm! I changed my original 3 star review to a 1 star. I would give zero stars if possible. We made an order online (and pre-paid) of 1 family pizza, 2 mini Murph's, and 1 smores pan. Waited the estimate time of 30 minutes, and went to the store. We waited in line for an hour and a half and never got to the window. My boyfriend went into the store to see if our order was ready. As soon as he asked, the kid sitting at the cash register said immediately, "It's not ready. That's what I'm telling everyone." He didn't bother to get up and check the rack filled with pizza to see if our order was ready. I called from home and let them know we need a refund. He took my name and number, never bothering to apologize for the 2 hour wait resulting in no order. Terrible service. We won't be back... Given the way people in the store were so upset about not being able to get a refund for the orders they didn't receive also, I'm guessing we won't be the only ones.
Normally I don't leave a review unless I can leave 5-stars, but this business needs to know they aren't serving their customers the best possible customer service.
Several times we've ordered from this location and have had to wait longer than the wait time we were given. I thought it was a fluke earlier this month when we ordered online, we waited 45 minutes, only to show up and not have 2 of the 5 items ready because, "We don't have any made." đ€ We ordered it almost an hour ago, how do you not have the items we ordered in the time frame you set? Apparently our prior purchase was not a fluke because the same exact thing happened again this evening. The teenagers working don't seem to care that your order isn't available.
I've never experienced a Papa Murphy's with such terrible wait times and unavailability. Expect to wait at this location, and don't expect your order to be fulfilled even when you get to the window or the counter. I prefer to support local, but this establishment makes that...
Read moreToday I called in an order asking how much a large family size pizza cost and the girl replied $13. I then asked how much extra cheese 'cost'. She said "An Extra $1.50". I decided a regular Family Size Pepperoni was fine, I didnt need the extra cheese. After arriving to pickup my Pizza I was instantly horrified by the amount of Flies in the lobby, there was an incredible amount. For a place serving food, it was completely unacceptable. Anyways, I put that aside and went to the counter where I was charged about $16 in total for my pizza, not the $13 I was quoted. I say 'about' because the boy who checked me out failed to give me a reciept. Not only that but he seemed like he couldn't be less interested in my buisness or providing me with any form of customer service. He never made any eye contact and instead of handing me my pizza and change he placed both on the counter without counting my change back to me. I left completely unsatisfied.
After getting home it accured to me that my Pizza shouldnt have cost as much as it did. My Fiance and I came to the conclusion that we could've easily purchased 2 pizzas for the price of this one at another Pizza place. I called back to Papa Murphy's to talk to them about returning the pizza and getting a refund. The girl on the phone confirmed that they had charged me for extra cheese on accident. She offered to refund the extra cost or give me a 2nd pizza for free. I opted to recieve the 2nd pizza and left to go pick it up.
Once again after arriving I was disgusted by the amount of flies buzzing around the lobby area, its simply disgusting. I mentioned to the girl behind the counter that I was there to pickup the free Pizza we had called about earlier. Instantly the girl rolled her eyes at me in annoyance. She went to the back racks and got my pizza and handed it to me without a word being said or eye contact being made. She didnt say "Have a nice day" or apologize for my inconvienence in any way.
If I have it my way, my Family and I will never purchase pizza from Papa...
Read moreI grew up in Hayden and have always loved Papa Murphy's, but this Post Falls location is completely lackluster. I waited to write this review until I had been there a handful of times and at different times during the week to see if maybe my issues were one-offs. Safe to say, they are not.
The first thing about this location, which has been noted in other reviews, is that it's extremely confusing when you enter. There are two registers and no signage to really help you navigate between the two. It's also a typically chaotic environment. I was there at about noon once and they didn't seem very busy, but the employees still scramble because they haven't been given clear tasks they have to do. Every time I have been there, I have waited for about 5-10 minutes for someone to ask me if I have been helped even though there is no line.
The second thing is that this store is just dirty. There are always toppings and various things on the floor and the counters aren't clean. I set my phone down while I was paying once and there were things stuck to it when I picked it up. When you're ordering food somewhere, that's not something that's particularly appealing.
These things are all symptoms of the real problem here: the manager. The manager doesn't seem to know what he's doing and he's not a very pleasant man at all. He runs around aimlessly just as bad as the kids do and he's sharp with his employees for no reason. It's very clear that running a store is far too much for him and that his employees suffer because of it. The employees that I have dealt with, aside from the manager, have all been polite, pleasant, and they seem to understand too that this place is chaos.
Shockingly, the food is okay.
Like many of the reviewers before me said, go to Hayden or Liberty Lake if you want to visit a well-run store with quality service. Go to Post Falls if you want to watch a large man-child struggle with pizza. Admittedly, if you're in the right mood, it's...
