The manager and assistant manager are thieves! I went in there in March and accidentally left my wallet on the counter. The only people in the store were the manager and the assistant manager. It didn't take me ten minutes to realize my wallet was missing, but I distinctly remember leaving it on the counter. Silly me! I called them immediately to let them know what had happened, and I asked if they had my wallet. They just changed shifts after I left, so I spoke to a different employee on the phone who acted irritated that I would even ask him such a thing, and told me that the manager would be back tomorrow before 4 and hung up on me! I drove back to the store and immediately before I even open my mouth one of the employees asks me if I'm the girl that lost her wallet. That's a weird question, there are at least 20 different people in here but you recognized me? Strange, because we have never met, and I did not tell you that I was coming there. I imagine you probably got a good look at my license while you and your managers were rifling through my wallet. I finally got this other employee to call his manager to ask him about it, and he told me to come back tomorrow. I filed a police report, but the police were of no help whatsoever. They acted as though I myself were committing a crime by being robbed. However, I was compliant and I did come back the next day to speak with the manager of the store. He proceeded to take me in to the back room and inform me that the cameras in your store are apparently just for show, and serve no real purpose. Isn't that convenient for a thief? Unfortunately there are no laws in the state of Idaho that say a business has to have security cameras, and the law enforcement has no intentions to serve and protect the people. Due to a series of unfortunate events, I am homeless, and jobless. The only reason I was in Subway that day was because I had a coupon for a free sandwich. I had just got my taxes back, had my eye on a place to live, all I needed was first and deposit. Everything of importance was in that wallet. I even had paperwork documenting my homelessness and vouchers for help, that now I cannot use because some greedy people thought they needed it...
Read moreI was visiting family in Post Falls, ID from 11.10.23 to 11.13.23. On 11-12-23, I stopped in to your Subway located at 105 W. Seltice Way, Post Falls, ID 83854 at approximately 8:00 p.m. with the knowledge that that particular store closed at 8:30 p.m. There was a young man behind the counter with a name tag that said Freddy. My sister-in-law verified that the store closed at 8:30 p.m. Freddy said yes and told us that we would need to wait to place an order. It looked as though he was making about three foot long subs for someone. It was not a problem so we sat down and patiently waited until he called us back up to the counter to start our order. We ordered a foot long tuna and a foot long ham with salami. After paying for our order, Freddy asked us if we wanted a bag for our sandwiches. We then said since it is only 8:15 p.m. can we sit and eat our sandwiches. Freddy said that he needed to start cleaning the dining area and we needed to leave. We told him it was only 8:15 p.m. and he again said he needed to clean the dining room. I didn't see anything unusual in the dining room that needed special attention other than the wiping down of tables and chairs. We proceeded to leave. As we exited, Freddy was right behind us and locked the door. Again, it was only 8:15 p.m. and the store closed at 8:30 p.m. In all the Subways that I have been to, I have never experienced this level of poor customer service. Freddy couldn't wait to get us out of the store and lock the doors. I have never been told that I couldn't sit in a restaurant and eat my food 15 minutes before closing time. Is this a new policy of Subway? I felt this blatant lack of customer service needed to be brought to the attention of Subway and the quality of workers that are being hired. It seems to me that more training is needed to teach these young people how to treat their customers if Subway wants to keep them coming back. Thank you for having an outlet for restaurant...
Read moreHi, so first off I have never left a review for anything before, but I can not let this go. I work in the food industry- I’m a supervisor at Papa Murphy’s so I totally understand closing sucks, but this is twice in a row that Michael, the worker that helped me, was completely unprofessional. First off no greeting(either time), the only thing said was, “what do you want?” with a sour attitude . I tried to make small talk thinking it was just a rough day-no response. I felt like I was a bother to be in the store. He did not even heat my bacon which I thought was weird because I have never seen it before, but no worries on that- pretty sure it is pre-cooked, but on his service he just made me feel like he did not care that I was a customer. The first time, I came in 7 min before closing— again, I get it sucks that you can’t start cleanup before close, but he actually turned down the customer that came in seconds after I did (6 min before closing, open sign was on) he told them this is the last sandwich I’m making, We are closed. If he was one of my crew I would fire him. I know for me, I will never enter this location again and I hope retraining or some type of correction happens. Like I tell my crew, even though it sucks, we sell product until the last min of open. I’m really sorry that I’m even bringing this up but I was very offended and hope his way of handling customers is not the...
