Wendy's — Restaurant in Pottstown

Arrived at 5:58 at drive through no cars moved ahead. We were car #3 with another 3 behind us. Waited there in line without moving until 6:22. Told my husband to get out of line and I would go inside to order.inside no one seemed to know what they were to do. One guy was throwing away batches of Frenchfries into a trash can from a customers bag. No one as getting their orders. There was a driver from grub hub there for 20 minutes. I know his meals were cold when the servers gave them to him, finally got my order 2 $5.00 biggie bags. Cheeseburger was cold and greasy as well as the French fries were cold, greasy and limp.. this was the most terrible meal we eEVER got from Wendy’s. Better clean up your act or you won’t have any customers. I will not be going back as well as the people that were inside with me. There was also a dirty man at the soda machine that came in with large plastic cups and filled them with ice, took them back to his truck and came in again and did the same thing again. You are never going to get families there to eat with this bad service. Corporate needs to do a pop inspection of this operation in Pottstown at shumaker road!!! This was a waste of our money!! I went thru da drive thru and i have to say i had 1 of da best experiences of customer service i have eva had!! First off Mr Chuck was at da window and he was one of the kindest and sweetest persons i have eva met!! Ms Joseline was also at the window helpin and she was extremely nice too and wat made me smile bigg was dat both Mr Chuck and Ms Joseline were kind to my babii's who were in the backseat!! They spoke to them and gave them a toy, DATS wat i call amazin service, bcuz they didnt have to!! My kids r my everything, under GOD, so when ppl r kind like dat to dem it makes the whole experience amazin, and i thank dem both!! Mr Nas made my food and i always ask for fresh plz bcuz its for my babiis, and i tell dem i dont mind waitin bcuz i understand it takes time if u want it dat way, he definitely delivered and wit a smile!! The whole experience was extremely pleasant and bein still new to Pottstown i truly appreciate each of dese individuals!! Food was great but service was above & beyond!! Previously, 4 months ago, I left a scathing review of this place. Needless to say, my experience was beyond horrible for a number of reasons. However, I have since deleted that review in favor of this one. This Wendy's has since Seen The Light!!! What a wonderful transformation that has taken place here. I Door Dash and regularly frequent this place for pickups. It has changed completely for the better. The entire management and crew now seem to genuinely care about the level of customer service, accuracy of orders and most importantly, us, the customers and delivery partners! Thank you. A special kudos to the gentleman at the front counter, (I think his name is Charles.) You will definitely know him by his booming voice and welcoming demeanor. This man knows how to work the front counter and take care of HIS customers. To the owner, this entire crew needs to be kept on board and compensated for their competence and level of care.
