$50.00 for 2 small beers, one hamburger, one chicken fried steak. The hamburger was over cooked, no pink as requested, not even cooked but rather over cooked and dark brown, bland, with a small small side of salad. Chicken fried steak was not done correctly at all, horrible, only finished half. Sausage in the gravy was gooey and very odd, very bad (maybe a turkey?) and 2 small eggs. Where is the money going? 4 chefs standing around and can't get those 2 basic meals right and at the huge cost. I feel like I have been had here. 10/10 will not go again.
Reply to Owner? You stated that my server noticed that my burger was servery overcooked and asked if it was ok? No, she stopped by to ask if everything was alright and if we needed anything as she did a few times. She made no mention of anything else, she did not ask or offer me to have my burger remade. That is because she never knew it was so bad, so that was a fib. After waiting for as long as we did, with a restaurant that was 10% occupied or less, I did not want anything redone or have to wait for anything to be recooked (I mean if a simple menu item like a burger or chicken fried steak can't be done by 5 chefs, then what can be done really and why would I stay. It's a burger, I can eat it, be done with it and leave. But $50.00??? You are competing with a lot of restaurants that can deliver better quaintly for less. I'm not interested in paying off your building. Do you believe a super expensive building is necessary to sell a breakfast menu? When we arrived at 1:10 PM, we were seated with a menu. The menu was a breakfast menu and some sandwiches. When I walked in, I did indeed think that this was a very nice looking place and that wow, maybe we are going in for something great. I was expecting $50.00 steak or lobster dinners or plates, etc. To see a breakfast menu only at a bar/steak house atmosphere was odd to say the least. I asked the server if we could order beer because we did not see NOT ONE beer selection on that menu. She stated "oh, I can grab you the beer menu, but we usually hand those out during lunch time" . 1:10 pm is lunch time. Once we received that beer menu, we saw the bar foods, etc and a whole other menu of food. We also had a menu for other drinks. We were told that if we wanted a panini, pizzar or some of the other items you would expect here, to go downstairs and order down there. The most odd...
Read moreI’m reviewing based on service not food. The reason being is because I haven’t received my food yet and it’s already been 43 minutes. I can say that my Diet Coke was delicious. I did get my drink in that time frame.
First try and make a reservation, you call their line and they tell you via message that they don’t answer their phones. You have to email them to reserve a table and there’s no telling when you will get a confirmation. We called a few times and left a message to see if there was confirmation and of course, they don’t answer their phones, lol.
We are at the 48 minute mark and our waitress lets us know they are running behind. She offers us French fries for 8 people. We accept her offer and she brings us a small plate of fries for 8 people. We did get a one small saucer of ketchup for 8 and we graciously rationed the condiment between us all.
Now at 51 minutes one of our guests hasn’t received their Montana Coffee. It’s apparently coming from Montana. (Sarcastic of course).
So 55 minutes in, the servers mix up an order for a table next to us. One server ran into our area and asked if that of the food they are serving was for her table. There was confusion and yes it was for the other table.
An hour in (60 mins) and no update on our food and we still haven’t received our coffee for our guests. We did have our server come by and take one of our guest’s silverware and said that their drinks are coming.
2:10pm the food finally arrives but all our guests are horribly upset. We lost half our table to walking around to calm down so they don’t be rude to the staff. We aren’t the only ones upset here. I want to eat but to be honest it’s upsetting because we are at this point and 2 of our guests still haven’t received their coffee orders.
I’m going to end this review because it’s horribly upsetting. Happy Father’s Day to the fathers that joined us and thank you for being so patient and calm and making our lunch great. If it wasn’t for your great attitudes this Fathers Day lunch would have been much worse.
Oh and an hour and fifteen minutes in- our guests received...

Let's start with the highlight of my visit: the Eggs Benedict. Oh my goodness! I can't even begin to express how perfectly the eggs were cooked. The yolks were velvety and runny, creating a luscious cascade of flavors when I cut into them. The eggs sat atop a bed of beautifully smoked ham that had just the right balance of saltiness, complementing the dish's other elements perfectly. And to crown it all, the Hollandaise sauce was a rich, dreamy delight, drizzled generously over the top. Each bite was an explosion of culinary ecstasy, and I found myself savoring every last morsel.
Apart from the fantastic food, the ambiance at Crabtree was warm and inviting. The restaurant's decor was tastefully rustic, exuding a cozy charm that made me feel right at home. The soft lighting and thoughtful layout created an intimate atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a memorable gathering with friends and family.
But what truly set this restaurant apart was the wonderful service, particularly from the exceptional Robert.
