Very disappointed at whatever hiring manager that hired the individuals that is on shift for July 11th 2024 at approximately 12:32 p.m. I went through drive-thru and I tried to place my order which was very painful to do. First of all, the individual seemed to not fully understand what I was trying to order. Once I was able to describe to him what I needed drove up to the window. After receiving my order I drove away. Looked in my bag and it was the complete wrong order. I then turned the car around, went back in to the restaurant. I had the bag and my receipt. The person identified as Ray approached me asked me what did I want. I informed him my order was in correct. I had ordered the number 16. My apologies he said I thought you ordered the number six??? Directly to his left was an older woman who looked very under the influence of something. Went on to say she ordered the number six. I'm so sick of these ungrateful customers. I simply said to her my apologies if you don't like working your job. I ordered the number 16 not the number six. She went on to be as disrespectful and rude as she possibly could. I wasn't even addressing her Ray looks in my face and tells me if I don't calm down he's going to ask me to leave. All I can say is wow. First of all, I didn't even get hyped up. I wasn't even upset. I just clearly stated the order was incorrect. I just told him I just wanted my money back. That's all I wanted. I then asked how can I place a complaint. I asked for his name he clarified it. It was Ray. I asked for the lady's name in the back. He told me that was none of my business. OMG!. This was like a nightmare. All I wanted was to get my mom something to eat and to get something on my stomach while we wait on our fur baby at the ER.
I am at the emergency hospital for my pet dealing with this and then being treated with such disrespect from people who are making and preparing meals for other people. There was no room for me to be disrespectful to be angry or upset. I'm dealing with the grief of my pet being taken to the emergency vet hospital .... Anywho, I asked how I can place a complaint. I was told to look out on the receipt for the telephone number which is not on the telephone number and then he says to me. Good luck with that š”
These employees need to be fired. I was told that there was no manager on site. No manager at all for this location. This behavior is unacceptable and should not be allowed to happen in public restaurants. In if employees are ungrateful to have a job, they should never apply to work in a fast...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I visit this location once every few weeks. For the past 6 months or so, every time we visit this location, the exact same two vehicles are parked in the back corner of the parking lot. Itās very obvious someone is living in at least one of the two vehicles but whatās concerning is that every time we are there, employees are surrounding these vehicles. Today we counted 8 (EIGHT) people, some in JITB uniforms and others in plain clothes (one without shoes, in the rain) came flooding out of the vehicles with smoke billowing behind them. Whatās even more concerning is that the person who appears to be the āmanagerā or āPICā, whatever you want to call her, was with this group seen exiting the vehicles. And itās not the first time weāve noticed her āhanging outā over at those vehicles. It doesnāt take a rocket scientist to deduce that there are nefarious activities taking place here and we are shocked that itās been allowed to continue this long unchecked. My wife and I used to love JITB when we were younger so itās a nostalgic type thing to go have a Jumbo Jack or some tacos every now and again but this location is super sus and even though we live in the area, we will not be back until the riffraff in the parking lot is sorted out. Itās a bad look for the business and makes us question what other poor behavior is given the blind eye inside of the establishment.
Also, the prices here are ridiculous for the quality and portions of food you receive. We paid Red Robin prices yet still got fast food quality and low quality at that. $4.99 for onion rings and there were 5 medium sized rings in the bag. My wife added tomatoes to her burger, was charged $0.49 for them and received two cherry tomato slices (extra small). ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn balance I like Jack in the Box's food, their all day menu is something all fast food joints should aspire to. Zingers like tacos, egg rolls, cheesecake and munchie meals are all hits for the franchise.
Oh, but the Poulsbo Jack in the Box, the mythical beacon on the hill. These guys just seem to not get things right about 40-60% of the time. They're the only joint in town still managing to stay open late, so when I go there it is mainly because nobody else is open. They consistently take forever to get you through the line, something that they have been hiding from the higher ups monitoring of the drive through ground sensors by having pretty much everyone park out front and they'll bring you the food, something I used to resent, but now see as a fun little return to form and beginning to feel like going to an old school drive-in!
I have had exactly two incidents with getting bad food from this location, once I got a sourdough Jack that was well cooked, but the bread was not only sour, but stale too, I didn't really complain. Back in September of 2021 they served me some loaded spicy tiny tacos that gave me a stomach ache and sweats so bad I went to the hospital thinking that I had appendicitis. $1000 in medical bills later it turns out, no it was just food poisoning. Don't get me wrong, they seemed suspicious when I opened them up from the drive through bag they were noticeably cold inside and I shouldn't have eaten as many of them as I did before throwing about half of them away.
So if they have fooled me twice, why do I still go there sometimes? Because they're the only joint open when I get off work at 10pm or later some nights. Go here but be warned you should not be in a hurry and have a fair chance of getting poorly...
