Iāve been to plenty of Taco Bells in my life, and I never expect gourmet food or five-star serviceāitās fast food, after all. But my experience at the Poulsbo Taco Bell was so bad that I felt compelled to write this review. It was honestly one of the most frustrating and downright unacceptable fast food experiences Iāve ever had.
I went through the drive-thru because I was in a rush and just wanted a quick bite to eat. Simple enough, right? Wrong. From the moment I pulled up to the speaker, I was greeted by a young woman who clearly had no interest in being there or in providing even basic customer service. Her tone was so dismissive, it was almost comical if it hadnāt been so irritating. After each item I ordered, she cut me off with a sharp, āIs that all?ā Not just once or twice, but after every single item. I wasnāt even done speaking, and sheād already be rushing me to finish. Iāve been to a lot of drive-thrus, and Iāve never felt this pressured to complete my order like it was a race to the finish line.
At one point, I had to double-check my order because of how quickly she was moving, and when I asked for clarification, she gave me the shortest, most condescending answer possible. No āplease,ā no āthank you,ā no courtesy at all. It felt like I was bothering her for trying to spend my money there. By the time I got to the window to pay, I was already irritated, but I figured, āHey, itās Taco Bell, as long as the foodās right, itāll be fine.ā
Spoiler: It was not fine.
When I got home, I opened my bag and noticed something was off right away. I ordered a beefy five-layer burrito, but what I received could barely even qualify as food, let alone a burrito. It was essentially two tortillas with a pathetic smudge of beans and a squirt of sour cream. There was no beef. No cheese. Nothing that made it even remotely close to the item I ordered. It was like they threw together the bare minimum and hoped I wouldnāt notice. Iām not exaggerating when I say this thing had more tortilla than actual fillingāit was an absolute joke.
Honestly, I wouldnāt have been this upset if it were just mediocre food. Thatās the risk you take with fast food, right? But this was beyond badāit was inedible. I paid for something that was so poorly made it felt like a scam. And after the horrible service in the drive-thru, this was the last straw.
To top it all off, I couldnāt even go back to get it fixed because I was already home and didnāt have time to make the drive back. So I basically threw my money away for food that wasnāt even remotely close to what I ordered. I canāt believe how lazy and careless the staff was, both in service and food preparation. It was like they werenāt even trying, and they couldnāt care less if the customer was happy or not.
Iāve had my fair share of subpar fast food experiences, but this one takes the cake for being the absolute worst. Itās not just that the food was badāit was the combination of awful service, being rushed, and then being completely disappointed when I finally opened my bag. Iāll definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you enjoy bad attitudes, wrong orders, and barely-edible food. This was outright...

I worked Fast food for many years and the most important thing was getting are drive-thru clear and moving not waiting for ever in the drive-thru I get threw other Taco bells drive-thru fast it's just the poulsbo Taco bell Drive-thru. So if the GM or district manager seeing this you need some work on getting your drive-thru going fast and not slow speed. My mom has had multiple problems with orders and sometime customers service. So needs work. No reason to be in drive-thru for 10 minutes because there's no speed in the drive-thru.
Sorry but it's the truth thank you and I hope stuff start to change.. but I still come here when coming home from the casino but it always takes forever to get threw the Drive-thru. This stuff would have never flight with my old fast food job Drive-thru is high priority thats where most of your customers come from.

Update on this review They still suck we got cold food and went back through the drive-Thrue and still got cold food definitely never coming back to this taco bell period The general manager/ District manager y'all need to get who ever is working in back to cook correctly because someone could get sick because of cold food. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Taco Bell in Poulsbo, Washington on 9.20.23 and my card was not given back to me with my receipt. I was in a rush on my lunch and went back to work. My card was then charged an additional $67.21 shortly afterwards. I noticed my card was missing this morning and called right away to see if my card was there. The manager, Damien, was not helpful when I called to ask about my card. He verified my card was there, but when I told him about the extra charge, he told me "Sometimes the card is left in the card reader and then another customer comes through, and it gets charged to you." He did not offer to make it right or mention a refund. When I specifically asked him if he could give me a refund, he said he "had no way to look that up." I feel my card was used to buy lunch for someone in the store, and he was trying to get me to just go away with no recompense. It could not be looked up because he did not want to provide me with details that I should have been able to be given by someone in management. I feel this was Taco Bellās mistake, perhaps purposefully done by the sneaky actions of the manager, and it should absolutely be refunded. I also feel this calls into question the ethics of this store and its staff. An official complaint has been filed with the Corporate Office for this restaurant.
