I came here today to buy a box of four cookies. I asked for two semi chocolate chips cookies, this place makes their cookies so sweet that I asked the girl to add a few extra flakes of salt to the cookies. This way it could dial down their sweetness. However, one of the girls there told me that they "could only add to the cookie but can't take away". So they weren't able to give me a few extra flakes of salt on my cookies. Then what's the point of asking whether the cookies look alright when you gave them to me? What's the point of asking for my preference when you couldn't even fulfill even a simple request? If I'm gonna pay $5 for a cookie, the least you could do is dress the cookies to however I want it, whether it's extra sprinkles, whipped cream, candy mix, or even extra salt! That's the least you could do. I mean I'm paying $5 per cookie, that's a really high rate even with today's economy. I mean I can add $1.49 and buy 24 cookies at Stater Bros. I placed in order at this location for this first time back in April and had to wait over an hour for my order to be complete and when it was some of what i ordered was no longer available. The staff made up for it by providing a card for a free 4 pack for use at this location only. I came last week on Saturday to use that voucher and they charged me 17$ which i still have no idea why, considering there was no wording on the card mentioning any additional payment may be required. When I asked the staff why they charged me they couldn’t even give me an answer let alone a refund because their manager wasn’t in. They took my information down and said their manager would reach out on Monday morning to resolve the issue. It is now Saturday again & week later and still nobody has called. I placed a carryout order online for my daughter to pick up. When she arrived I clicked the “I’m here” button. She went inside and waited like everyone else and when she was able to talk to one of the workers they told her they didn’t have any orders under her name and then they told her it was a DoorDash order. I sent my daughter a screenshot of the carryout order with the order number and after waiting 45 mins they give her the order. If I knew it would take 45 mins for the cookies I would have clicked I’m here right after placing the order. What a mess.
