My local store moved out of area. I had a lifetime warranty for a screen protector. Went into the Poway CPR Store young employee informed me this store was a different franchise from my original store. I had my receipt with me and employee emailed to the owner. I was told for $12.00 they would replace. Except I had a very small crack on the curved edge of the glass so they made a recommendation that I should have glass replacement. I came back the following week to find a very belligerent employee who after I explained the situation and was surprised to find that nothing had been flagged in their system. His attitude was that he was not going to help me. Stating that I had a receipt that only showed I made a purchase. He said he didn't know what type of shield I bought. He works in the industry and when I held up the original worn out screen he rudely asked if i could tell what screen it was. I said I have no clue since I dont look at these like he does. I asked him to call the owner who I believed to be aware of my situation. He refused. At this point his arrogance and and rudeness was too much so my voice escalated. He took that as a reason to ask me to leave. Which I did. He doesn't realize that we are the customers and there was no need to frustrate customers like he did. I would not recommend buying anything that has a lifetime warranty from CPR, you have to fight this employee to get resolution. The warranty is a gimmick and...
Read moreWe went into the shop because of a phone that was dropped in water. The store clerk told us it was going to take about 5 hours to fix. After waiting for 8 hours and no updates, I called in to ask for the situation. The clerk reassured me that it will be done on the same day. Then, less than an hour before closing, he called back telling me that they had not gotten to it and must take more time because of a technician family emergency. This was a problem for us, as my family was leaving the country the very next day. When I explained this to the clerk, he proceeded to blame me for not telling him that it was an urgent order, even though he had promised it would be done on the same day. I understand that emergencies do happen, but had I been informed, I could have went to another repair shop and got it repaired. What happened was a blatant lack of respect on the store's part. Not only that, the clerk offered no apology for breaking his promise and wasting our time, and insisted that it was my fault. This unwillingness to take responsibility was very childish, yet even my 2 years old baby brother knows how to say sorry when he messed something up. But props to the clerk for having the courage to call me an "annoying and difficult customer" when we asked for a refund (which we did get, so that's an upside). This review might change if I ever go back again, but so far, you've earned the 1...
Read moreI was referred here by my insurance. As soon as my insurance claim was processed I received a email and phone call from the business. Which was nice that they followed up.
When we arrived at the business we were not greeted. The young man at the front desk actually looked annoyed we walked in. We greeted him and let him know we needed our phone repaired. He then told us to hold on and went in the back for about 10 minutes before he came back out. Which is odd no one else was in there. During this time we noticed how dirty the inside of the business was. Gross! When he came out and asked us a few basic questions then let us know it would be 1 hour and 30 minutes. During our conversation again it seemed like we were bothering him. He definitely needs to work on his customer service skills. Both the website and the follow up indicated a 45 minute wait. Just wish we would of known before coming so we could of planned better. We drove a hour away just for this.
So in summary if your not referred here from your insurance I would go somewhere else. I will also follow up with my insurance to let them know about...
