A great example of you can't always trust the reviews. My first time and definitely my last time. Lack of cleanliness and sanitizing tables properly. Ordered hamburger steak meal. First problem was open up my silverware to still see food on the fork. The hamburger steak was dry and overcooked. No A-1 or Heinz 57 offered. The french fries were visibly full of grease and had been left over from lunch because they were crunchy and no taste but just grease. Very small portions. Then as I leave and pay I see the young girl assigned to the drive thru window standing there at the window chomping on food and texting on her cell phone. I am sure the health department would find that as an approved and appropriate action.....NOT! Dinner ended up being a huge disappointment. Actually stopped on the way home at the Clock restaurant next to Bob Jones University so I could get great food and take away some of my disappointment. They have consistently served up great food for the 30 plus years I have gone there. Athas needs to be like them and other great restaurants. No excuse to own and operate a restaurant so...
Read moreWell, I have been giving my business to Athas for 4 years, since I moved to the upstate. I am very particular about my Greek salad, and today will probably be the last time I order from there until something is done. The past two times I've gotten my greek salad, it's been wrong. The first time wasn't so bad because virtually all the things that make a greek salad, just that, were there...however pickles nor coleslaw have ever come with my salad nor cucumbers. Tonight, not only did we see very unprofessional behavior from employees, arguing out back where you order at, cussing etc. Then I get my food home, just to find I have paid for lettuce olives and feta😡. I have tried 40 TIMES to call them but nothing and at 9:19 the restaurant is still opened. I am pregnant and this was one of the few things I could eat, $$$ that I don't have tons of will not be thrown away on people that don't care about their jobs or...
Read moreI called in a to go order when I got to the restaurant I was told that I could not order that meal which I had had on many oprevious visits. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told that the manager was the one who took the call in order I said that’s fine I would still like to see the manager when the manager came to the window. She was very curt, and told me that that particular menu item had been deleted approximately two weeks ago, and that she had took the liberty to substitute my order for another meal which I was not interested in when I said to her if you knew that menu item was discontinued why did you take the order and let me drive over here she said sir you can either take the meal or not but we’re not gonna be ugly at the drive-through window at which point I told her thank you I would probably not be back and she said we would appreciate it so I will...
