my coworker called in our lunch order today at 12:27...was told it would be ready in 20 to 30 minutes...I wait 10 minutes and drive over really excited about the new place and watching and waiting for them to open.. only to get there and after someone finally tells me where to pick up my order to find out the order hasn't been sent to the kitchen... only written down on a note book and told that they had just hung up the phone that my coworker had called in from my desk... she tells me the price after she sends the order to the kitchen and tells me it will be 20 minutes before my order will be ready...I call my coworker at12:46 to confirm the order... and proceed to wait up front for the kitchen to prepare our lunch.. one very nice young lady did ask my name two separate times and actually went and checked on my order... finally after 20 minutes I just wanted to get a refund and maybe next week try again...I understand they are still trying to get all the kinks out and I get that... but I'm told we know know how to refund your money...then girl says your order is almost ready... manager shows up offering me coupons or something...then I hear the girl who took my order tell the manager they just called in his order...no I was sitting at my desk and I know when the order was called in.. please don't tell me what I know is not true...then she bags up some lunch which I thought was mine... cause she said it's almost ready... only to have it taken out of my hand and past to the person behind me... finally she says your order is ready and the manager asked if I want a refund...I'm just thinking if my order is ready then please just got to me so I can go on... that's basically all I want.. I even say.. okay if it's ready let's go ..I don't want my money back or free coupons... just lunch...at this point it's 1:14.... please..I understand you're still getting the kinks out... just say..I'm a little overwhelmed or I'm running behind... but don't tell me when I called in the order and showed up to soon .. and it's on me...no...I told the manager I would call back and tell him the time we called in the order..it was a good 45 minute ordeal and highly aggravating...to the point I didn't even want to eat what I got...I will say the food I got to see looked really good.. but I'm not going to do that again... not for awhile until they can send the orders called in sent to the kitchen when you call it in... not when you get there and told I just hung up the phone from your...
Read moreI called to see if they’d do call ahead seating and the gal told me I could online. So I clicked the ‘join waitlist’ from their site for our party of 6 so that we would be officially on the waitlist.
When we got there we waited for a table. This was at 9 am. We were offered a seat outside but no one had asked us if outside was okay with us. Since it’s summer in TN we prefer the a/c and told them we’d rather sit inside.
We overheard the hostess saying that our name was gone from the waitlist. Somehow our name disappeared. We did notice that it took a while. But at 9:30 we got a table.
The server was sensational and the food was delish! Huge portions! But, they’ll need to work out the kinks in the waitlist & seating. One in our party has a cane. Thankfully we were there early enough to have a place for her to sit while we waited.
Then, that same hostess came by as we were finishing up, to clear dishes and said ‘I’m sorry for the wait when you got here’. To be polite I replied ‘that’s ok’. She then said ‘it’s just that we get so busy in the mornings’. I replied ‘that’s why we used the waitlist’ 😵💫
Our server was great and apologized & said the team was new and we realize for lots of those folks it’s their first job. We totally understand and several of our party have worked in food service.
It was just disorganized and we waited when we shouldn’t have had to (because we used the waitlist and then our name was erased/lost).
Food is great! Location is good! We will be back and I hope to update this to a 5 star review at that time.
So glad we have a new diner! Our brunch club loves to try new places and we think this one...
Read moreWon't be back. The food was ok but nothing to brag about. $40 for 2 lackluster sandwiches. The service was poor. Our waitress was friendly but took a long time to do everything. (Keep in mind they were NOT busy.) We sat at our table for 10 mins before even seeing her. We ordered 2 Dr Peppers and finished them before the food arrived. The cups sat empty for an additional 10 mins before she came by to refill them, then brought us Diet Coke. I got a burger and my son orderd the chicken sandwich. When ordering she asked if he wanted "fries or onion rings" as a side, without telling us onion rings are $1 extra and only came with 5 rings. Then she disappeared again. I had to flag down a manager to get our drinks fixed. Then after the manager brought the correct drinks our waitress came back, apologized but then literally said "I'm surprised you noticed". She got them wrong then acted like I wouldn't know the difference Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke? She dropped off the check and disappeared again. I had my card out on the check waiting, and this time had to grab the busboy to go in the back and find our waitress. I ALMOST didn't even tip. The burger was big but lacked any real flavor. Just meat on a bun with some veggies. This place is perfect for old people who don't season their food, but we won't return. The bad service and overpriced meal...
